Description
Workawayers are there to support the social and guest experience side of the hostel and do not replace any paid positions, but rather complement our local team by helping create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere for guests.
We currently employ a team of 15 locally paid staff who are essential to the daily operations of our hostel. Our team is made up of a diverse group of roles including bar staff, maintenance crew, housekeeping, cooks, baristas, administrative staff, and receptionists.

From our side, we can teach you valuable skills in hospitality, guest relations, event hosting, and social media engagement. You’ll learn how a party hostel operates behind the scenes, how to create a fun atmosphere for guests, and how to manage people from diverse backgrounds. If you're interested, we’re also happy to share tips about living in Bali, local culture, and the best spots on the island.

Help
Your main role is to help create an unforgettable, fun, and social atmosphere in the hostel. This includes hosting and joining daily and nightly activities such as pre-drinks, party games, bar events, and nights out. You’ll be encouraging guests to connect, making sure everyone feels included, and helping break the ice so solo travelers quickly feel part of the group.
Typical tasks include:
Socializing with guests and building a fun, welcoming vibe
Organizing and hosting drinking games and group activities
Promoting hostel events and getting guests involved
Joining group outings to bars, clubs, and local events
Helping create a lively party atmosphere while keeping things respectful and safe
