    Description

Hello! We warmly welcome workawayers, preferably couples or two friends, who are looking to assist with light gardening and household tasks for a few days while exploring the stunning scenery of Bergen and its surroundings. Our area is renowned for its magnificent mountains, fjords, and vibrant city life.

Our home is conveniently located just 15 minutes by car or bus from the city center. We are a couple in our fifties with two children in their twenties who live abroad but come home for the holidays.

Directly outside our door, you’ll find excellent hiking trails, and there’s also a swimming spot nearby. Having traveled the world, we enjoy meeting new people and learning about different cultures. We are particularly keen on hosting Spanish-speaking guests, as we are eager to practice our language skills.

Join us for a memorable exchange in one of Norway’s most picturesque settings!

At our home, cultural exchange is a central part of your experience. We're excited to introduce you to our community, show you our favorite local hiking trails, and offer tips on the best sights and activities in the area. You'll have the chance to learn about Norwegian traditions and culinary practices, and might even pick up some Norwegian phrases. We are also keen to learn from you—whether it’s through cooking a dish from your homeland or sharing your customs and traditions. We cherish the opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds and appreciate the fresh perspectives each visitor brings.
