Our project is a small family run urban permaculture farm based in Nairobi. Our main products are microgreens, salad mix and raw honey. We are based on a 5 acre plot with an indigenous forest and a small seasonal river. Currently in the process of developing accommodations, food forest systems, Kitchen gardens, and aquaponic systems for our plot.

Will learn a broad spectrum of Permaculture techniques relevant to African environments, Water Management, Self-Resilience, Agroforestry, Beekeeping and the chance to learn some Kiswahili!
Volunteers will benefit from one very nutritious home cooked meal in the evening. Other meals will have to be purchased and cooked in our kitchen at your own cost.
General implementation of Permaculture designs, helping with our Apiary, tree planting, general garden maintenance and natural building.

Accommodation is a roofed house on the property with a communal kitchen, hot shower, and internet access.
There is easy access to all modern amenities within 15 minutes of the site,
Vegan / Vegetarian food can be arranged upon prior request.
We are a conscious living environment meaning we would appreciate a little pre existing knowledge in terms of living a conscious life.
Any background in organic farming or permaculture is an added plus!
