    Description

    Ya'ax Tuch, the green navel. We care for and protect hectares of jungle in southern Mexico, in the area known as Costa Maya, in the magical town of Bacalar, Quintana Roo. Ya'ax Tuch is a private protected natural area which has an extension of 100 ha, in which we develop different projects in order to promote ecotourism activities in real contact with nature, these include hiking, cycling, observation of birds and permaculture, in addition to having a network of community tourism in the south of the state. Our goal is to preserve the jungle and knowledge, reconnect with our nature and teach people about different forms of life that are friendlier and in balance with our mother earth, we practice good living and respect for all forms of life. We are a team of local guides who are dedicated to nature tours, we carry out activities in the surroundings such as sailing, cycling and hiking.

    Cuidamos y protegemos hectáreas de selva en el sur de México, en la zona conocida como Costa Maya, en el pueblo mágico de Bacalar, Quintana Roo.

    Ya´ax Tuch es un área natural protegida de carácter privado la cual cuenta con una extensión de 100 ha, en el cual desarrollamos diferentes proyectos con el fin de promover actividades ecoturísticas en real contacto con la naturaleza, estas incluyen, senderismo, ciclismo, observación de aves y permacultura, además de contar con una red de turismo comunitario en la sur del estado.

    Nuestro objetivo es preservar la selva y los saberes, reconectarnos con nuestra naturaleza y enseñar a las personas sobre diferentes formas de vida mas amigables y en equilibrio con nuestra madre tierra, practicamos el buen vivir y el respeto a todas las formas de vida.

    Somos un equipo de guías locales que nos dedicamos a tours en la naturaleza, realizamos actividades en los alrededores como velerismo, ciclismo y senderismo.

All of us who share this space are people who like to travel and exchange life stories. We work in tourism in the region, so part of the benefits will be to be able to access our tours in the surrounding area at no cost.

    We need hands to work with the land. The jobs are diverse and physically demanding. We carry out cleaning paths, planting trees, care and irrigation and bioconstruction. All activities are coordinated and supervised by people who know the jungle, in order to minimize risks.

    Necesitamos manos para trabajar con la tierra. Los trabajos son diversos y de exigencia física.
    Realizamos limpieza senderos, plantación de árboles cuidado y riego y bioconstrucción.

    Todas las actividades son coordinadas y supervisadas por personas que conocen la selva, con el fin de minimizar riesgos.

    We love sharing with people all over the world, exchange it's a very important way to share our culture and different perseption.

    The accommodation within the protected natural area is in a camp within it, where we have a platform with a roof (tree house) on the top of the trees where we have a space to sleep with mosquito nets, there is also space for tents (We have the equipment for your disposal, in addition to new high-quality blankets enough to cover us and outdoor hammocks. The land has little infrastructure, but enough to live and be comfortable, (we have been living very comfortable in the jungle for 1 year ) the lack of great infrastructure is so as not to significantly alter the protected area. We have dry toilets and an apartment in Bacalar equipped for your 2 breaks per week, we also have bicycles to go and return to the town which is 15 min away pedaling. We are going to cover the cost and offer two meals a day, the food is balanced and diverse. Food preparation is part of the activities in the I know that we are all part of it.


    La acomodación dentro del área natural protegida es en un campamento dentro de la misma, donde contamos con una plataforma con techo (casita del árbol) sobre la copa de los arboles donde tenemos un espacio para dormir con mosquiteros, también hay espacio para casas de campañas (contamos con el equipo para su disposición, además de cobijas de alta calidad nuevas suficientes para cubrirnos y hamacas outdoor. El terreno cuenta con poca infraestructura, pero la suficiente para vivir y estar cómodos, (nosotros tenemos 1 año viviendo muy cómodos en la selva) la falta de gran infraestructura es para no alterar de forma significativa el área protegida. Contamos con baños secos y un departamento en Bacalar equipado para sus 2 descansos por semana, también contamos con bicicletas para ir y volver al pueblo el cual está a 15 min pedaleando.

    Vamos cubrir el gasto y ofrecer dos alimentos por día, la comida es balanceada y diversa. La preparación de los alimentos forma parte de las actividades en las que todos formamos parte.

    Ya'ax Tuch, is located 5 km from the magical town of Bacalar, a historical place of great natural beauty that makes it an international tourist destination, the entire area is located on the shore of the second largest lagoon in all of Mexico, the lagoon of the 7 colors. With 54 km long, this lagoon is part of the only freshwater lagoon system in the entire Yucatan peninsula and is of unforgettable scenic beauty. In this place, as local guides, we sail sailboats to go and discover the wonders of the area. , cenotes, islands and historical sites such as the pirate channel.


    Ya´ax Tuch, se encuentra a 5 km de el pueblo mágico de Bacalar, lugar histórico y de gran belleza natural que lo hacen un destino turístico internacional, toda el área se encuentra a la orilla de la segunda laguna más grande en todo México, la laguna de los 7 colores. Con 54 km de largo, esta laguna forma parte del único sistema lagunar de agua dulce de todo la península de Yucatán y es de una belleza paisajística inolvidable, en este lugar nosotros como guías locales, navegamos veleros para ir a conocer las maravillas de la zona, cenotes, islas y sitios históricos como el canal de los piratas.
