Join Our Self-Sustaining Community in Mahood Falls
We have a dream—and we need your help to bring it to life.

Nestled in the beautiful Cariboo region, just south of Canim Lake in British Columbia, our 255-acre property is the perfect place to create a future rooted in collaboration, respect, and sustainability.

    Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking like-minded individuals and families who share our passion for:

Helping others and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
Food security and sustainable living practices.
Embracing simplicity, creativity, and hard work in daily life.
Loving animals and respecting the natural world around us.
Building a meaningful, self-sufficient lifestyle while connecting with a vibrant community.
Whether you’re experienced in homesteading or simply eager to learn and grow, there’s a place for you here.

    A Little About Us
We are a family of five who left the city at the height of COVID-19 to pursue a slower, more intentional way of life. Over the past four years, we’ve transformed this property into a livable homestead with heat, water, and power—but the journey has only just begun.

From constructing tiny homes and greenhouses to landscaping, gardening, and caring for livestock, our days are full of creative and fulfilling projects. We’ve experienced the joy of hosting like-minded individuals and are eager to create a deeper, more lasting community.

As a family, we also love beach volleyball and are excited to challenge anyone interested in learning or playing! We’re currently building a second court and exploring opportunities to run youth beach volleyball camps—adding a fun and unique element to our homestead.
