We are a retired couple with 50 acres of mixed woodlands and fields. We are passionate gardeners and homeowners with a pair of mules and a dozen hens to keep us busy. If you enjoy nature and rural living, you should enjoy staying with us.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

We live in the heart of Renfrew County’s cottage country, with four large lakes surrounding us. Workaways can use our bicycle to get to one of the local beaches or to town at any time (7 -12 km). Our biggest local attraction is Bonnechere Caves, 14 km from home. We are 140 km from Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, and can occasionally provide transportation to Ottawa. We can also provide transportation to nearby towns where go for groceries and supplies. But we are essentially country folks who don’t get off the farm more than once a week.
