Description
Hi, I’m Konstantyn — a 31-year-old who recently returned to my family’s farm in Tuscia after years abroad working as a bartender. I still bartend occasionally in nearby Viterbo, but most of my time is now devoted to growing this space into something special — a working farm, a creative retreat, and a home worth sharing.
Right now, I’m looking for people who want to stay longer (min. 3 months) and become part of the rhythm here. This isn’t just a quick volunteering gig — it’s a chance to join the daily life of the farm, contribute meaningfully, and maybe leave your own mark on the place.
You can expect to:
- Work around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week
- Help with the vegetable garden, landscaping, and general upkeep
- Take care of our friendly cats and dogs
- Occasionally support events, which may be part of your hours or paid extra depending on the situation
- You'll have a private room in a shared apartment (with me), and plenty of time to yourself. I work some evenings, so you'll have solo hours to read, explore, rest, or work on personal projects — all of which the countryside lends itself well to.
We cook a lot, and food is a big part of life here. If you enjoy shared meals and playing with seasonal ingredients, you’ll feel right at home.
Having your own transport is a big plus — the countryside is beautiful but can feel isolating without mobility, and there’s so much around here worth discovering.
If you're curious, creative, and open to the pace of farm life, I'd love to hear from you.Types of help and learning opportunities

Help
- Gardening: We’re in the process of starting a new vegetable patch, and I could use some help with planting, watering, and general upkeep. You don’t need to be an expert—just willing to learn.
- Pet Care: We have some friendly dogs and cats that love attention. Helping with feeding, playing, and just keeping them company would be part of your routine.
-Cooking and Communal Meals: Food is a big part of life here. I’d love for us to cook together, share recipes, and enjoy meals as a group. There might be days when we host bigger lunches with friends and neighbors, where everyone pitches in to create a feast.
-General Maintenance: There are always small tasks that need doing around the farm—nothing too strenuous, but things like tidying up the garden, helping with light repairs, or organizing communal spaces.Languages

At the Farmhouse, we offer BnB stays (a total of four apartments), you will be staying in one of these apartments, which includes a private room, toilet and office.
- There will be BnB guests staying at the house but they live independently, consider yourself as a guest staying at the house alongside them.
The farmhouse is divided over two floors:
Ground Floor: This is the public area where you’ll find shared toilets and communal spaces for gathering and relaxation.
First Floor: The first floor is where the host resides, along with two other guest rooms available for our BnB visitors.
Second Floor: You will be staying on the second floor, which offers a private room and toilet, as well as a shared kitchen. To ensure you have some personal space, the kitchen will be private for you during breakfast. What else ...
- I’m a bartender, so I typically work in the evenings and return home later at night (don’t worry, I’m pretty quiet!). This means that some evenings, you’ll have the space to yourself to relax, cook, or do whatever you like.
- We are about an hour away from Rome, so if you feel like going into the city there is the train station which is about 10 minutes away.
-It is best if you have your own form of transportA little more information
