  Description

  In 2026 our theatre company will prepare projects on several locations in the Northern region of Germany, an area between Hamburg – Cuxhaven - Bremerhaven and later in the year of 2026 a tour through the west and east of Germany on rails with our Train. We will present documentary theatre- and light-performances at each place. Our own train will be the accommodation for all participants of the project.
  
  The theater operates the world's only production facility for theater on rails. There are accommodations, a kitchen, offices, a workshop and the technical warehouse in eleven wagons. The team lives, travels and works on the train. There is a single cabin available for everyone. Full meals are served in the dining car.
  
  Our team on the Train is now complete - but for sure next year we will reach out for help again! So probably in February 2026 we will post the next "search" - thanks for considering us and have a great time wherever you are!

  It's a great opportunity to see the creation and live performances of a documentary play in different railway locations. Working with an international team of artists and others, living intercultural exchange. Traveling with the own Train (for some projects) and staying at special places.
  
  Eine Chance, die Entstehung und Aufführungen eines dokumentarischen Theaterstücks an verschiedenen Eisenbahnstandorten zu sehen. Zusammenarbeit mit einem internationalen Team von Künstlern und anderen. Reisen mit dem eigenen Ozeanblauen Zug (für einige Projekte) und Übernachtung an besonderen Orten.

  Help

  We are now still looking for 2 different kind of helpers (f/m/d)
  
  1) a TECHNICAL HELP (f/m/d) from 1 until 26 October 2025. A friendly, well organized and open-minded person who can work as a technician with us and support the technical team and the light-team. We have to build up reflectors and material at the locations, build up theatre technique and keep the train organized. We also have an old building next to our train station that is still being renovated by „own hands“ (there is a technician who knows what to do). It is necessary to be flexible in thinking and find solutions together with us. A driving licence would be an additive advantage (not absolutely necessary). The job is paid on a fee basis against invoice, social security and taxation are the responsibility of the employees. We also offer accommodation and food.
  
  
  2) a KITCHEN HELP (f/m/d) from 1 until 26 October 2025 in our Train to help prepare meals for all participants. There is a professional cook/ chef, so the kitchen help would support him. A friendly, well organized and open-minded person who can support the cook s in a professionally equiped kitchen (on rails). Also some cleaning-work on the train will be part of the job. A driving licence would be an additive advantage (not absolutely necessary). The job is paid on a fee basis against invoice, social security and taxation are the responsibility of the employees. We also offer accommodation and food.
