 - Description- 2 acre abandoned vineyard is being transformed to a getaway place. The main project is to build a nature-friendly straw bale house, where living, sleeping, gathering and working spaces will be created.
We try to learn and practice the wisdom and the knowledge of the ancestors and experience the life in the nature.
Also what we are trying to create here is a community space for travellers, hikers and any likeminded people.

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- Travellers can dive in the construction with natural materials (clay, wood, used bricks ...). You can also learn more about nomad lifestyle and if you like to slow down this is a great place for that. Learning about the surrounding and human nature is also a part of the life here. The approach is very tame but solid.
 - Help- Looking for help constructing an earth-ship inspired Straw Bale house. If you interested about adobe and other natural construction techniques you are welcome! There is a small garden, wich is cultivated according to minimal input permaculture principles, some fruit trees to harvest and process. Gathering mushrooms, berries and some plants from the forest.
The lifestyle here is quite minimalistic, which requires more effort to make for e.g. hot water, clean the dishes your contribution is always appreciated in these tasks.

Hungarian language is very interesting if you want to find out more about ancient thinking and culture. Also interested in runes.
 - Accommodation- The accomodation is an 8m diameter yurt which is suitable for about 4 persons. There is 2 beds in the yurt for volunteers and some room for matresses. The bathroom is not in the yurt and there is no flowing water in the compost toilet. The bathroom is also outside and its tank filled with rainwater. We use mostly rainwater for everything except drinking.
 - What else ...- The project is in a small village next to Sümeg called Csabrendek, next to the forest and a hill, which is inbetween Sümeg and Csabrendek. There are many natural and cultural sites nearby which are all accesible by bus. The bus stop is about 20 mins walk. Transport to and from Sümeg wihch is the closest town with bus and train connection can be arranged if needed. You can find many ruins nearby in different conditions and also a Buddhist Stupa and lots of hiking trails. This is the beginning of the Balaton Uplands region the closest place of the lake Balaton is also within 30km.
