Welcome to Western Australia! We are a equestrian dressage property located approximately 30 minutes from Perth CBD in the Serpentine-Jarrahdale region.
5 minutes to the train station, 20 minutes to the beach and 5 mins to local shops.
We’re a busy working family, consists of the 3 of us (Husband, Wife and Daughter), our family dog and 4 dressage horses. We are very proud of our property and loving animals!
Accommodation in your own bedroom (with a single bed), shared bathroom and access to TV, swimming pool, laundry ect. All meals are provided.
Duties include gardening, farm tasks, weeding, making compost, lawn mowing.
We are looking for honest and hard working helpers who are keen to help keep our property as lovely as it can be!
We truly enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and believe that living and working together is one of the best ways to understand other cultures, values, and ways of life. For us, hosting is about connection, understanding, and shared learning, not just help. We look forward to learning as much from our Workawayers as they do from us.
We are not a business and Workawayers will not be asked to assist with any business-related tasks on our property.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Guiding our helpers with advice and ideas on how to enjoy the beautiful sights of Western Australia - Rotto, Swan Valley, Fremantle, Perth Hills etc. We love showing visitors Perth’s beautiful landscapes, hidden gems and rich history, including Indigenous heritage and the multicultural influences that have shaped Western Australia.
We will invite our helpers to join in with our family for celebrations, outings and weekends away.
We see Workawayers as temporary members of our household, not just helpers. We enjoy spending time together—sharing meals, having conversations, exchanging stories, and, exploring Western Australia and the beautiful country we live in. We aim to create a welcoming, respectful environment where everyone feels connected, comfortable asking questions, sharing ideas, and being themselves. A home away from home!
For our family, the exchange is just as important as the help. We value learning from each other, growing through shared experiences, and creating memories that go beyond the stay itself.
