Description
We own and live on a 10 acre ocean front property on Quatsino Sound on northern Vancouver Island. This is a small, quiet and peaceful boat access only community with lots of wildlife, clean fresh air and beautiful scenic views. There is access to back country for hiking, a post office, a Sunday Cafe and library, 8 km of "local road" along the waterfront. We have a BnB guest cabin available which is fully equipped with a kitchen, luxury bathroom and full queen bedroom, as well as a large TV with DVD's , electric fireplace, BBQ etc. Outdoors we have mountain bikes and a canoe available. We are developing a 1 -2 acre "garden / farm".

Help
About 2 acres of our 10 acres is "cleared" and we are developing a garden / farm. Work would include clearing brush, maintaining a garden, developing a berry patch and other landscaping and gardening type tasks.

Accommodation
A gorgeous fully equipped guest cabin with luxury bathroom and full Queen bedroom. Comfortable living room with large screen TV, electric fireplace and spectacular views. Wrap around deck with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
We are offering to provide food for the entire workaway stay including fresh, frozen, canned and dried groceries located in the fully equipped kitchen and fridges and freezer on the property in the guest cabin so that our guests can be fairly independent if they choose. We are also offering some shared meals with us in our own home also on the property. -
What else ...
There is a small community to explore including a local museum, library and cafe (open Sundays). Arrangements can be made to travel by "mailboat" back and forth to town for supplies as necessary.
