Description
We are a family of 2, living in a pretty little house located in Provins, a medieval city classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and would love to welcome a volunteer for an enriching cultural exchange. We really enjoy music and cultural outings.
We have two very independent cats, but one of them might want to sleep with you.
The biggest help I need at the moment is the preparation of meals, because I am not good at cooking but I appreciate good dishes, even very simple :)
My husband works and when he is at home, he is very taciturn, it has nothing to do with you, it is his temperament, and I work from home as a textile designer! I am rather talkative but I know how to respect your need for tranquility.
Essentially, we appreciate a volunteer who loves to cook, even if it's very simple! If you are a musician it is even better!
In the living room there is a piano available.
The organization of the day is as follows:
For my part, I am also not an early riser, I get up when I feel rested, and so I will let you go about your personal business most of the morning. You will be autonomous to make your breakfast, everyone will take care of his own.
It will be necessary to prepare the meal for noon.
The afternoon is free time for you, and you can enjoy the city and its little treasures.
You will take care of the evening meal for 19h.
After eating, we like to spend time together, playing card or board games or watching a movie together. If you have any ideas, or games to bring, we'd love to learn and play with you! If you want to be freer, no worries for us.
The pace of our house is very quiet, close to that of the holidays, ideal for a person who needs to recharge his batteries and spend time with family :)
THINGS TO SEE AROUND:
- Provins is a medieval town classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the walks are numerous.
- We are 2 steps from the train station, and the bus station. For 2 euros, a bus takes you to Eurodisney in an hour's drive.
- We are 1h20 from Paris by train. You can visit mainly on weekends, sometimes during the week if we discuss it first.
Please note that only lunch and dinner are provided, breakfast is at your own expense, we have a small store nearby for you to do your shopping for.

Nous sommes un couple de quarantenaires, vivant dans une jolie petite maison située dans Provins, une cité médiévale classée patrimoine mondial de l’UNESCO et serions ravis d'accueillir un ou une bénévole pour un échange culturel enrichissant. Nous apprécions beaucoup la musique et les sorties culturelles.
Nous avons deux chattes très indépendantes, mais l’une d’elle pourrait avoir envie de dormir avec vous.
La plus grande aide dont j'ai besoin pour le moment consiste en la préparation des repas, car je ne suis pas douée en cuisine mais j'apprécie les bons petits plats, même très simples :)
Mon mari travaille et quand il est à la maison, il est très taciturne, cela n’a rien à voir avec vous, c’est son tempérament, et moi je travaille de la maison en tant que créatrice textile ! Je suis plutôt bavarde mais je sais respecter votre besoin de tranquillité.
Essentiellement, nous apprécions un ou une bénévole qui aime cuisiner, même si c'est très simple ! Si vous êtes musicien ou musicienne de surcroît c'est encore mieux !
Dans le salon, il y a un piano à disposition.
L’organisation de la journée est la suivante :
De mon côté, je ne suis pas non plus une lève-tôt, je me lève quand je me sens reposée, et je vous laisserai donc vaquer à vos occupations personnelles la plus grande part de la matinée. Vous serez autonome pour faire votre petit déjeuner, chacun s’occupera du sien.
Il faudra préparer le repas pour midi.
L’après-midi est en temps libre pour vous, et vous pourrez profiter de la ville et de ses petits trésors.
Vous vous occuperez du repas du soir pour 19h.
Après manger, nous aimons passer du temps ensemble, en jouant à des jeux de cartes ou de société ou en regardant un film ensemble. Si vous avez des idées, ou des jeux à emmener, nous serions ravis d’apprendre et de jouer avec vous ! Si vous souhaitez être plus libre, aucun souci pour nous.
Le rythme de notre maison est très tranquille, proche de celui des vacances, idéal pour une personne qui a besoin de se ressourcer et de passer des moments en famille :)
LES CHOSES A VOIR AUTOUR :
- Provins est une ville médiévale classée au Patrimoins Mondial de l’UNESCO, les promenades sont nombreuses.
- Nous sommes à 2 pas de la gare, et de la gare routière. Pour 2 euros, un bus vous emmène à Eurodisney en une heure de route.
- Nous sommes à 1h20 de Paris en train. Vous pourrez partir en visite essentiellement le week end, parfois en semaine si nous en discutons d’abord.
Notez bien que seuls le déjeuner et le dîner sont fournis, le petit-déjeuner reste à votre charge personnelle, nous avons un petit magasin tout près pour que vous puissiez faire vos courses à cet effet.
