    Description

    Hello!
We are a family Mathieu, Silvia and our little baby (some months) . We've found our peaceful spot of nature in a small village called Montcléra. Our project is to build a bioclimatic house, wich will be realised with natural materials like woodframes, strawbales and earth plaster.
    About us:
Mathieu is a wood builder . Currently he left his job to dedicate himself completely to build our house.
Silvia worked like architect but she take a break for the moment.
    About the project:
Currently we are doing the inside finishing
We require people who have already experienced woofing, eco-farming, do-it-yourself, construction to bring solid bases to the project.
We work from monday to friday.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

It is a good opportunity to learn about eco-construction, theoretical and practical, since we both have a lot of knowledge to share. In addition to learn about eco-building techniques, you will share our daily life, our permaculture garden. We did a lot of volunteer experiences in the past around the word and we like to meet new people and other cultures!

  • What else ...

    What else ...

During the free time you can visit the typical surrounding villages, take walks in the woods, or swim in a lake 2km from us.
We can loan you bikes to go around or hitchhiking works quite well to go further!

The nearest big city with flights and trains links is Toulouse( 1 hour and half). If coming by public transport the easiest way to arrive is by train to Degagnac, Gourdon or Villefranche du Perigord where we can come and pick you up. Also Blablacar (a car sharing website) works very well in France and is often a cheaper and more convenient way to travel.

We have a phyto-purification system to treat waste water so we ask you to bring only biodegradeable soap and tooth paste !
    Bring also:
loose clothes wich you don't mind getting dirty during the work,
construction shoes (or if you don't have trekking shoes is ok) ,
    hat, sunglasses, sun protection cream
    flash light
