Description
Our school is nestled in one of the most beautiful forests of Hungary, in the Pilis nature reserve. Being secluded and private, the school grounds offer a real opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet, with good eccess to town, and just an hour away from Budapest. We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer English teacher for the 2018-2019 academic year, preferably with native level of English, and CELTA qualification. Our pupils are aged between 6-15 years, and the education we offer is permeated by leading edge ideas on environment preservation and sustainable development. We raise animals, cultivate the land, focus on cultural traditions, and arts and crafts. The ideal candidate will find these ideas appealing, will be enthusiastic about teaching and working with children, and enjoys teaching small classes, based on the 'Rogers' education model. In exchange we offer accommodation at the school, and 3 meals a day, for 25 hours work per week with 2 days off. Alcohol and smoking are not permitted at our school. We would prefer applicants with a longer term commitment.
