Description
My name is PJ and I live here with my wife Liz, our 2 cats, a donkey and a small flock of sheep. Liz is a teacher and I work full-time with electrical contractor.
Liz and I are very keen travellers having visited most european countries and we have also travelled widely through the US, Australia and New Zealand. We love meeting people from other countries and learning about their lives and how their traditions and customs differ from ours. Many family members and friends have had workaways come to stay and speak very positively about the experience and how much they feel they gained form having people from different countries come to live with them for a while. For a number of years we have thought about hosting workaways and we are excited to be finally taking the plunge.Types of help and learning opportunities

We live just outside the village of Craughwell which is about 25km from Galway city. Our home is 2km from the village where you can catch a bus heading west to Galway city and beyond to Connemara or east towards Dublin.
Galway is a vibrant city famous for its culture, history and lively pubs where live, traditional music can be experienced nightly. We both enjoy our nights out in the city and would be happy to bring our guests along with us.
Just south of here you will find the iconic Cliffs of Moher and the scenic area of the Burren.A little more information
