    Description

Home & Garden help needed for a busy working family. Luxury Cottage Accommodation. No skills needed, we’re happy to teach but must be physically fit and enjoy outdoor work.

    Minimum stay 5 days

We have 3 active children and many animals. Help needed with general rural property jobs like gardening, painting, eco projects along with indoor tasks such as housework, cleaning. Due to busy work schedules, we’re unable to cater to dietary requirements, our meat & eggs are farm grown.

We are located 1 hour North of Sydney. We bought a farm when our children came along to teach them about the outdoors, climbing trees, adventure and exploring. We want them to know where food comes from with growing our own food and meat. Our dream is to be off off grid and self sufficient. We are as organic as possible and are setting up our farm with sustainability principles in mind.

We’re excited to welcome helpers into our home and share a taste of the beautiful lifestyle we enjoy here in Australia. I’m more than happy to support your English learning journey—my husband speaks a bit of Dutch, German, French, and Spanish, and interacting with our children can also be a fun and effective way to improve your English. Reading them stories is especially rewarding.

We live on a property surrounded by state forest, perfect for walking and mountain biking. You’ll likely spot kangaroos, wombats, and plenty of nocturnal wildlife. Our home overlooks the sea, and watching the sunrise over the water is a truly special way to begin the day. I recommend starting mornings with a peaceful yoga session as nature wakes up around you.

We love cooking and eating clean, healthy meals. I’m passionate about permaculture and biodynamic gardening—although our veggie garden is still a work in progress, which is one reason we’re looking for enthusiastic helpers! There’s also the chance to learn how to drive a tractor and help care for the animals and land.

Creativity is a big part of my life—I enjoy crafts, sewing, and photography, and would be happy to share these with like-minded visitors.

We’re looking forward to welcoming people who are eager to learn, share, and experience the natural beauty and rewarding rhythm of life here.
