    Hello Friend!

:-) Thank you so much :-)

Welcome to our off-grid homestead where we support travelers, nature lovers, and digital nomads. Whether you’re exploring van life, living tiny, or simply taking a break from the fast pace of modern life, this space offers a peaceful place to reset and reconnect.

    About Me
You can call me Mama Shakti, I am a 50+ year old Micro-Farmer and Wellness Coach living in Georgia. I enjoy teaching and mentoring young people.I host guests who are open-hearted, helpful, and curious about sustainable living. I have a modest home on about a half-acre of land, just outside of the beautiful city of Atlanta, where I have indoor and outdoor projects that I could use your help with. From Building with Bamboo to Gardening and General Home maintenance, I've got plenty of fun for you!

    Volunteers Over the Years
We’ve had incredible volunteers over the years. Past guests often leave feeling refreshed, inspired, and more connected to themselves. Many describe this as healing and rewarding work exchange. It's more than a stay, it’s an invitation for growth, healing, and enriching work, all while enjoying a plant-based, nature-connected lifestyle.

Please Read Before You Reach Out
This is a rustic, nature-forward homestead. We live close to the land, and that means sharing space with some of nature’s smaller guests, spiders, ants, mosquitoes, and the occasional critter. While we do our best to keep indoor spaces welcoming, this isn't a bug-free environment. If insects or natural sounds make you uneasy, this may not be the right fit, and that’s okay. But if you’re someone who finds peace in the rhythm of nature and can be present with its wildness, this space can offer you something special.

    What You Get

During your off time, take a short drive to explore downtown Decatur or Atlanta's shops, restaurants and Universities; Morehouse, Spellman and Clark Atlanta University as well as Georgia Tech and Georgia state to name a few. Or visit the beautiful museums and sample the delicious restaurants which also hosts a farmers market every Sunday. We are perfectly positioned for public transportation. We are 5 minutes from organic grocery stores and juice bars, Stone Mountain for hiking, and many parks and museums for exploring. I look forward to sharing and learning from one another.
