    Description

There are places that are not built only with stones,
but with time, hands, dreams… and friends.

At the foot of the volcano, between vines and sky, this finca is coming to life.
A vineyard, an orchard, a refuge, a living project.
A place what connects human beings.

Here, everything will be done step by step and a human adventure growing day after day.

We are a Belgian couple, Christophe (54) and Geneviève (57), and we have been living in Tenerife for some time. Our lives have changed after a serious health accident affected Geneviève in march 2022. This brain stroke event forced us to stop working, and we decided to embark on this finca project.

The finca is located on one of the slopes of Mount Teide at an altitude of 800 meters. It is a small farm of just over one hectare, planted with vines, citrus trees, and almond trees.

    Welcome our finca 🌿
Christophe, Geneviève, and our little dog Lolly

Christophe is a super enthusiastic person who likes to share his daily projects with others, passionate about cooking, wines and socializing - Genevieve’s has lost a bit of self confidence and mobility after her brain stroke but she is still a great psychologist. Now she intend to take care of the chicken, collect the eggs and cultivate flowers and vegetables. We appreciate the company of all type of person to share experiences, skills and apéros !

  • Help

    Help

We are happy to welcome helpers who are interested in cultural exchange, simple living, and sharing daily life with us in our private home and personal garden.
The help we ask for is light, non-commercial, and flexible, depending on everyone’s skills, interests, and willingness to learn. Everything is done together, in a calm, friendly, and respectful atmosphere.
    Daily life & companionship:
An important part of the help is simply being present and sharing time with Geneviève, especially when Christophe is working outside on the property or needs to be away for a short time.
Geneviève is fully autonomous moving around the house, but she sometimes feels more secure when someone is nearby. She enjoys conversation, shared moments, and having a supportive arm when walking around the garden or the farm.
This is about companionship, kindness, and human presence — not medical care or professional assistance.
Home & personal garden (private use only):
    – Helping around the house with everyday tasks
    – Garden tasks, watering plants, and general upkeep
    – Small DIY or creative projects (non-professional, no construction or renovation work)
Fruit trees & vegetable garden (for personal consumption only):
    – Seasonal care of trees and plants
    – Harvesting fruits and vegetables for our household
    – Cooking and preparing food together for our own enjoyment (jams, preserves, shared meals, etc.)
    Animals & garden life:
    – Daily care of animals as part of family life
    – General help in the vegetable garden

All activities take place exclusively in our private living spaces, and are not linked to any commercial activity, paying guests, or products sold to the public.

We truly enjoy exchanging knowledge, learning from our visitors, and sharing moments of daily life. Helpers are invited to bring their own skills and curiosity, discover the local culture, and become part of our everyday rhythm.
This is not a business project, but a private lifestyle focused on cultural exchange, sustainability, and human connections.
