    Description

Our project is an organic farm & art space in Nuweiba, South Sinai, and the realization of a long dream that we—Gihan Zakaria & Khaled Kamel—have had. We have both lived full and successful lives in Canada & Egypt working for multinational corporates in the computers & communications fields. But after so many years, we decided it was time to get out of the city, to a cleaner, more natural and sustainable lifestyle.
We took a piece of land in the desert of Sinai and worked hard by hand to create an organic farm and art space to practice & share knowledge about sustainable lifestyle and handicrafts.
Now, four years later, we produce organic dry herbs (lemongrass, lavender, horsemint, rosemary, moringa, pelargonium and more), as well as our famous homemade vegan, low-sugar hibiscus & aubergine jams.
At the center of our land sits this brain: a one-story building we also built ourselves where, for the past few years, we have had the pleasure to build our ever-growing community of artists and collaborators. On our porch, we’ve hosted sculptors, painters, potters, writers, filmmakers, musicians, and more.
    -------------------------------------------------
