Cultural association located in Santeramo in Colle, Puglia, Southern Italy. in collaboration with a local family that offers part of their farm as space for accommodation and the land for activities dedicated to agriculture, animals, teaching, cultural tourism and innovation. A unique place, immersed in the Alta Murgia Pugliese park, full of olive trees, fruit trees, pastures and forests. In the company of many people who collaborate with the family project and the association.
Asociacion cultural ubicada en Santeramo in Colle, Puglia, Sur de Italia. en colaboracion con una familia local que ofrece parte de su masia como espacio para alojamiento y de los terrenos para actividades dedicadas a agricoltura , animales, didactica, turismo cultural y innovacion. Un lugar unico, inmerso en el parque del Alta Murgia Pugliese, repleto de arboles de olivo, frutales, pastos y bosques. En compañia de muchas personas que colaboran al proyecto familiar y a la asociacion.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
A cultural exchange in this part of Southern Italy means immersing yourself in the oldest, most authentic Mediterranean culture, which has its roots in the Paleolithic! Being with us you will learn Italian (and Pugliese dialect), the local agricultural culture: agricultural techniques in permaculture and synergy, care of farm animals, maintenance tasks on the farmhouse, the field, the orchards, the forests. You will also learn (and enjoy it daily!) about our gastronomic culture that is based on the quality of the raw materials, then on agricultural tasks. We will do gardening projects, small construction and innovation (we are now exploring the aquacoltura technique and we want to build a water collector from air humidity).
Un intercambio cultural en esta parte del Sud de Italia significa sumergirse en la cultura mediterranea mas antigua, autentica, que tiene su raiz en el paleolitico! Estando con nosotros aprenderas italiano (y dialecto pugliese), la cultura agricola local: tecnicas agricolas en permacoltura y sinergica, cuidado de animales de granja, trabajos de manutencion de la masia, del campo, de las huertas, de los bosques. Tambien aprenderas (y disfrutaras de ella a diario!) sobre nuestra cultura gastronomica que se basa en la calidad de la materia prima, entonces en el trabajo agricola. Haremos proyectos de jardineria, pequeña construccion y innovacion (estamos explorando ahora la tecnica de aquacoltura y queremos construir un recolector de agua desde la humedad del aire).

Accommodation
The accommodation is at the farm in a stone house built in 1897. the house iw fully furnished and offers all comforts: common area (kitchen + living room with fireplace, washing machine, fridge, microowave etc), 2 separated rooms, one with 1 king size bed the other with 3 single beds, common bathroom with shower. We have hot water, heating/cooling system, Starlink wifi. The house is shared with other international volunteers all year around so you would find yourself sharing with others! We offer staple food (pasta, legumes, fruit, vegetables, sauce, cheese) provided from local stores we consider with a good price/quality balance. We try to adapt to all specific need (gluten-free, intolerants et al.) with some rules ;)You are asked to make a list every friday for the following week. We also have an honesty bar where you can buy for a fair contribution local wine, beers, chips and sweets we do not provide. You can also buy ecological pasta, legumes and sauce we make at the farm! You will also generally have the possibility of enjoying veggies and fruits from the farm depending on the time of the year. If you have a van you can also stay there in indicated areas, as well as sleep in your tent if you like. You have bikes to go to town or walk there if you do not have a car.
El alojamiento se encuentra en la finca, en una casa de piedra construida en 1897. La casa está completamente amueblada y ofrece todas las comodidades: zona común (cocina + salón con chimenea, lavadora, frigorífico, microondas, etc.), 2 habitaciones separadas, una con una cama king size y la otra con 3 camas individuales, baño compartido con ducha. Disponemos de agua caliente, sistema de calefacción/refrigeración y wifi Starlink.
La casa se comparte durante todo el año con otros voluntarios internacionales, por lo que convivirás con otras personas.
Ofrecemos alimentos básicos (pasta, legumbres, fruta, verduras, salsa, queso), proporcionados por tiendas locales que consideramos con una buena relación calidad/precio. Se te pedirá que hagas una lista cada viernes para la semana siguiente.
También tenemos un “honesty bar” donde puedes comprar, con una contribución justa, vino local, cervezas, snacks y dulces que no están incluidos. Además, puedes adquirir pasta ecológica, legumbres y salsas que producimos en la finca.
Dependiendo de la época del año, también tendrás la posibilidad de disfrutar de frutas y verduras de la finca.
Si tienes una furgoneta, también puedes alojarte en las zonas indicadas, así como dormir en tu propia tienda si lo prefieres.
Dispones de bicicletas para ir al pueblo o puedes ir caminando si no tienes coche.

estaras ubicado/a en la "region mas bonita del mundo" segun National Geographic: Puglia, Sur de Italia. En un area agricola y autentica, reserva natural (Parco dell'Alta Murgia) cerca de lugares espectaculares (Matera, Locorotondo, Bari, Trani, Ostuni, Taranto, Alberobello). estaras en Santeramo in Colle, un pueblo de 27.000 habitantes donde hay de todo. Para visitar los lugares en tu tiempo libre tendras varias opciones: transporte publico, hacer amigos, juntarte con nosotros.
