    Description

    The camp is made up of a group of volunteers and scholars who, through education, research and ecotourism, protect the populations of sea turtles: leatherback, hawksbill, brown and olive ridley that nest on Palmarito beach.

    El campamento está integrado por un grupo de voluntarios y becarios que a través de la educación, investigación y ecoturismo protegen a las poblaciones de tortugas marinas: laúd, carey, prieta y golfina que anidan en la playa Palmarito.

    Contribute to the conservation of endangered species. Learn techniques for monitoring and protecting sea turtles on nesting beaches, learn about the surroundings of Puerto Escondido and Oaxaca, learn about a comprehensive conservation project.

    Help

    We seek support for the surveillance and maintenance of the turtle camp and incubation nursery. All volunteers participate in the ATV night tours to collect and relocate eggs of four species of sea turtles to the incubation nurseries.

    Buscamos apoyo para la vigilancia y mantenimiento del campamento tortuguero y vivero de incubación. Todos los voluntarios participan en los recorridos nocturnos en cuatrimoto para recolectar y reubicar huevos de cuatro especies de tortugas marinas a los viveros de incubación.

    The camp is in front of the palmarito beach, it consists of rustic infrastructure, it has electricity, kitchen, ecological toilets, electricity and water. The camp has a kitchen to prepare food. A basic pantry will be provided weekly. \

    El campamento se encuentra frente a la playa palmarito, consiste en infraestructura rústica, cuenta con electricidad, cocina, baños ecológicos, electricidad y agua. El campamento cuenta con cocina para preparar los alimentos. Se proporcionará semanalmente una despensa básica.

    You can visit clowns to surf like Zicatela, Roca blanca, Barra De la Cruz. Beaches with reefs like Carrizalillo, San Agustinillo, Estacahuite, Huatulco. Observe the bioluminescence in the Laguna Manialtepec and Chacahua, the hot springs of Atotonilco in San José Manialtepec and Juquila. In the state of Oaxaca, in a short time they arrive in Mazunte to get to know the Mexican Turtle Center, Punta Cometa, Ventanilla, and a fourth hour away is San José del Pacífico. There is public transport that arrives at the entrance of the subdivision where the camp is located.
    There is place to receive a maximum of four people at a time.

    Pueden visitar playas para surfear como Zicatela, Roca blanca, Barra De la Cruz. Playas con arrecifes como Carrizalillo, San Agustinillo, Estacahuite, Huatulco. Observar la bioluminiscencia en la Laguna Manialtepec y Chacahua, las aguas termales de Atotonilco en San José Manialtepec y Juquila. En el estado de Oaxaca en poco tiempo llegan a Mazunte para conocer el Centro Mexicano de la Tortuga, Punta Cometa, Ventanilla, y a cuarto horas se encuentra San José del Pacífico. Hay transporte público que llega a la entrada del fraccionamiento donde se encuentra el campamento.
    Hay espacio para recibir un máximo de tres personas a la vez.
