Description
We are a group of friends from France and India, located in Pondicherry and we are currently managing our own hostel since 2019.
We've set up a hostel which will feature several different things including:
-Dormitory-style hostel with 32 beds
-Rooftop lounge where people can eat, chill and admire a beautiful sunset
-Fitness area where people can do exercices, yoga or meditation
-A huge wall made of bamboos with a wall hanging garden, nests for birds....
-A study room to read, work, study
-A entertainment room where people can watch movies, play games
-Graffitis and other wall decorations
-Other things....
We are looking for volunteers with creative ideas and sociable, able to work on their own initiative to come and join our team! We are open to suggestions and feedback from our volunteers, if you think you have a particular skill that would benefit the hostel, then get in touch with us and we can have a chat!

The benefits of being part of the Hostel,is that you are able to see how other people live in the world and the taste of Indian food, learnig new languages and cultures by practicing with the locals everday and all the Indian traditions, are exposed to new experiences enabling you to grow as a person and change your perspectives on life. Not only do you get to learn a new language, try amazing foods, visit new places but meet some pretty amazing people, it may be that you meet your best friend, a group of friends that will last for eternity or even a partner for life
Help
We are seeking volunteers who are willing to assist us in the management of the hostel and its improvement. We are seeking help in all areas, so all skills are welcome. Please let us know what you're good at and we'll find a way to put your skills to use. Minimum requirement for this position is one month. We're looking for people able to speak French, English, Spanish or Tamil.

Free room with a bed and A/C in a fully equipped dorm bed. Free food, and access to all our current facilities!

There are some activities to do around pondicherry, like the famous Auroville city at 10km.
We are at less than 1km from the beach and White Town.
You can also find some cheap bars and restaurants all arround out place.
You will find the railway station at 1km from the hostel, and the bus terminal is at 10min by walking, so you can visit and travel easily all around South India during the days off.
