Description
Explore around the country and join our family-run winery and apartments in Skadar Lake National Park
Hello,
I am Anja, a 24 year old Mathematics graduate from Montenegro.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Digital Sciences and Sustainability Paris. My family owns and rents two houses on a beautiful location in the Lake Skadar National Park, 45 minutes away from Podgorica. As I moved out of Montenegro, we need help maintaining the cleanliness of the rental apartments, as well as welcoming guests. I would talk to you online, but you would meet my family in Podgorica and in the village (or if you find yourself in Paris, I’d love to meet in person).
See you !! :)Types of help and learning opportunities

Montenegro is famous for its nature, and you would be living in one of its most beautiful places.
Skadar Lake, located on the border of Montenegro and Albania, is the largest lake in the Balkan Peninsula. It's renowned for its stunning natural beauty, diverse wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. With its clear water, picturesque islands, and surrounding mountains, Skadar Lake is a heaven for nature lovers, photographers, and outdoor enthusiasts.
In case I am in Montenegro while you are there, I would love to show you around the country! You could visit me in Podgorica or we can go to my apartment on the sea, in the town Sutomore. We can also explore cities like Kotor, Budva, Žabljak, and more. You'll be warmly welcomed into my circle of friends even if I am not there, providing opportunities to socialize and learn about Balkan history and culture firsthand. Beyond work, you'll discover the depths of our heritage, creating lasting memories and friendships along the way. And, I will send you great tips on what to do in the country!Host offers payment in line with the minimum wage

Help
Our village is very popular for tourists and we need help with renting our apartments. This includes: cleaning two apartments every few days (one is a small house with one room only, the other has a separate living room and bathroom), welcoming guests and showing them our winery. I would message guests and be available to answer their questions, but during the weekdays I cannot be at the village. We have a washing and drying machine, as well as a machine for ironing the bed linen. On the weekends, I will sometimes come to the village with my aunt and dad, and you can help us in the garden and vineyard, but your main responsibilities would be in the house.
We would pay you a wage for this (minimum wage in Montenegro is 450 euros for 8 hours a day, but you would work part-time), offer you an apartment to live in, as well as our extra car and a bicycle.Languages

Our houses are located in the village Dujeva on the Skadar lake, 4km from the town Rijeka Crnojevića, 20km from the city Cetinje, 30km from Podgorica and 45 km from the sea. We have an extra apartment where you would live, but we’d also give you a car so you could go to the city whenever you’d like. There is a shop and a few restaurants in the village as well.
The apartment you would live in is equipped with everything you may need, big bed, kitchen with all utensils, bathroom and air conditioning. We also have a big garden, a winery and bicycles you could use.
Regarding food, as we wouldn’t live in the village with you, we would not be able to share our meals but you are always welcome to join us for dinner in our home in Podgorica! What else ...
As you would be busy for only a few hours a day, you would have plenty of free time for hiking, swimming, kayaking, birdwatching, cycling, exploring historic monasteries and villages along Skadar lake shores. Whether you're seeking tranquility or adventure, Skadar Lake promises an unforgettable experience amidst its breathtaking scenery.
The village is always bustling with travelers, cats, and dogs, ensuring you'll never feel alone during your stay. With our car at your disposal, you can explore the entirety of Montenegro within a few weeks. I'm eager to welcome you into my family and friend group, where you'll experience genuine hospitality.A little more information
