    Description

    Hello there sweet people!
My name is redouane . I come from a nomad family, i spent all his life in the desert, moving from place to place until we stopped at the gate of the desert, around 14 km away from Erfoud.
I would like to share all of my knowledge about life on this harsh and alluring land with all people who are curious to learn about it.
If you decide to come and volunteer at my place, I will make your journey a haunting experience filled with magic.
I am building a house with my family with the intention to create an ajoining guesthouse for visitors to enjoy this way of life with us.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

In the fields, you will learn the gardening with typical marocan tools (cutting plants, plowing, etc).play some musical instruments from here visit the area and make your trip in the desert easier ! Also, you will discover the souk of Erfoud

Also, you will learn a lot of traditions from here as we can't find them in the big cities (typical foods and breads from my familly or myself).
If you want, you could try to cook vegetables and meat with spices or make the tea !
You will learn quickly the bases of arab language and you could learn me your language too !

And, the last but not the least, if you want you could go to the desert and sleep there to see how nomad life works !

It's a really good cultural exchange here because of all these reasons and because my familly and I are open minded and it would be a pleasure to teach you a lot of things from here.

  • Help

    Help

The help could be all kinds of different tasks, varying day by day, like:
Building different rooms in the house. We want to build some new sleeping rooms and a big living room. For the building we will use mud bricks made of sand, straw and water
Gardening. We need to plant new palm trees and we want to grow organic vegetables and fruits
We need to take care of our animals.
We will need help for planting new palm trees and making mud bricks so we can start building some of the rooms. Also we need some people to help us with installing the internet. And we would love it if there are some helpers who can help us in practicing languages to make it better.

We are always thankful for anything you can help with.
