    Description

hi all, It is Berk:) i am 24 years old living in a nice city of Turkey(Batman). I am a medical officer. I like traveling, learning languages, playing chess game . I enjoy meeting new people and finding ways to help them have an uplifting experience. I am dedicated, outgoing, and a team player.I enjoy reading, and the knowledge and perspective that my reading gives me has strengthened my teaching skills and presentation abilities. It would be worth to visit Hasankeyf , Mardin and another historical cities of Turkey.
Hansankeyf is no normal town and its history stretches back 12,000 years. It fulfills most criteria for a UNESCO world heritage site.
Many civilizations have inhabited the area including the mighty Persians. Even the brave leader Alexander the Great and fearless Romans conquered Hasankeyf before it eventually fell to the Ottoman Empire in 1517. Many buildings from these eras still stand including a mausoleum, a Roman bridge and castle, two mosques, Islamic tombs and a king’s palace. All of these overlook the Tigris River that recedes, then edges up the river banks depending on what time of year it is.
Mardin city is located on the slope of a hill looking down south to the Mesopotamian plains. Mardin is on the rail and highway routes connecting Turkey to Syria and Iraq. According to a hearsay, the history of the city dates as far back as the Flood. The city lived under the rule of the Hurri-Mitani, Hittites, Surs, Babylonians, Persians, Romans, Arabs and the Seljuk Turks. Later, the Mardin branch of the Artuklu Kingdom called "Tabaka Ilgaziyye" was established and the city flourished during this time.
