Description
Ideally looking for a person or a couple who can get stuck in: current projects include fencing and clearing, cleaning and feeding animals which include chickens, ducks, horses, dogs and cats lams and goats!
We are in a bush fire zone (postcode 2574) However only those who can contribute effectively will be considered.
I have a helper who is caring, feeding and cleaning the animals, but there is plenty work in the upkeep of the property like mowing and gardening and watering.
The couple should be able to do the chores independantly of each and not require supervision once shown.
We would require minimum of 3 weeks stay with a weeks notice if you extend.
It is important we don't have fussy eaters or people with special dietary needs and preferably people who can share in the cooking workload( cooking for 6 people, If unable to cook then prep and cutting up and assisting to clean up after meals is necessary.)
In exchange you will receive a spacious and clean double room with on-suite in a two bedroom self-contained granny flat. With its own living area/ kitchen and own back yard with veggie patch. Basic food is supplied and you are welcomed to eat a main meal with the family. More than enough food is supplied for those who work(Treats like Chocolate, alcohol, special food, etc.. At helpers cost) We require non- fussy eaters, people who are healthy and able to contribute in some way.
We often go 4WDing and camping over weekends. Plus trips to the beach and parks with dogs once isolation restrictions have lifted
The granny flat is separate from the main house, both of which are situated on 11 acres in a quiet, peaceful area but only a short walk from the small town of Bargo which has a train station.
A little about the area: Bargo is only 1 hour out of Sydney by car (less then 2 hours on the train) With easy access to and from Sydney airport direct by train. Where we live is out of the main town, about a 15 minute walk.
Bargo is a quiet country town suitable for those who do not need to be near the hussle and bussle of the city life or major shopping mall although all within access.
