    Description

    Hello,

We are Anja and Peter, German and Australian farmers and 2 boys Bronn (8) and Jamie (6) and a girl Olive (2).

Our situation is that we live in Braidwood and the farm house is free for workawayers.

I, Peter travel to the farm from Braidwood each day and back again.

So our arrangements are suited for pairs and couples to stay in the house and has a car. But if you are happy with your own solitude this may be your dream situation too.

We currently have no pets to play with although hopefully we get a cat soon.

Our main focus is cows and fences as always...nothing ever changes.

I, Peter am particularly interested in grassland restoration by using cows.

So if you like to fence and move cows this is your place.

The house is a usual old farm house built in the 60's. It has a new kitchen and bathroom and 2 bedrooms and large veranda.

The valley is beautiful with a creek running down the middle of it where you can bathe in if you like.

Farm experience is very valued here. The work requires a bit of skill and logic. Having experience with 4 wheel motor bikes is great too.

    Hope to here from you,

    Cheers,

    Pete

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We are a couple from two different countries with interesting opinions on life, nutrition and everything else.
We think a lot and change a lot.
We are somewhere between hippie and conservative - just normal really. We don't watch television and eat whole foods only and mostly off the farm.
Interested in evidence based facts and opinion.
We would love to learn about your life, stories and opinions and we would love our sons to have a world view as broad as possible.

It would be good to have a car if they want to be flexible and leave and come back anytime they want as the next town is 40 km's away.

We have one car which we can use to go somewhere all together.

The next town is Braidwood and has a lot of lovely cafes, a grocery shop, pubs, a park , a post office, bank, petrol station.

It is a very nice rural town. 2 hours from Canberra, the capital. 1,5 hours to the coast (Bateman's bay) with nice beaches and shops as well.

The farm is next to Deua National park. There are plenty of opportunities to hike and explore on the farm and into the parks.

We can take you to the Deua river which is one of the most pristine rivers left in the world!
