 - Description- My name is Julio and I am from San Salvador but I have been in El Zonte for the last ten years. The projects to benefit people, the environment and to do business are environmental friendly agriculture, hostel, baking, monitoring the river, restaurant and construction.  - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- While staying at the house, travelers will interact and collaborate with people in the community and will learn about the culture, the challenges, the hopes of the people in the village. Also, at our house we host scientists from the University of El Salvador that are conducting research and working at at the local school and community. Travelers will have the opportunity to get involve and learn from these projects. Travelers can also be involved in a bio-construction project helping build a two story cabin using natural materials. 
 - Help- The help required at the house is diverse and flexible. For instance, we need people that can help design and implement environmental projects, teach languages, art and Physical Education at a local public school, small building projects at the house or the community. In addition we need support helping tourists that come and stay at the house.

 Spanish: Fluent- This host offers a language exchange 
 I have been a Spanish teacher in California and enjoy teaching and learning other languages
 - Accommodation- We have a space inside the house for volunteers to stay with beds, hammocks and bathroom. We also have a kitchen, pool and plenty of common areas in and out doors. The house has in addition, some cabins that often are available for volunteers to stay. Everyone buys, prepares food and cleans the kitchen. 
 - What else ...- Even though El Zonte is known as a surf destination, there are mountains and rivers you can hike to and amazing people to meet. Also, the house is a three minutes walk from the beach. I like people that come and stay with us to be respectful to the culture and committed to justice and evironmental issues.
