Description
Hey there,
We are a vegan family with 2 kids, 2 dogs and a cat and currently looking for someone to help us out around the house and garden.
Important to know is that one of our dogs, Nala, is a rescue dog and sometimes gets nervous around people. Especially when she feels that the person is scared she gets defensive, so it would be great if you have a natural way of loving animals and you also know how to behave around them when they are nervous. Having said that, both the dogs and our cat are super loving, cuddly and fun, including Nala, if she feels safe.
Best is to have a chat if you are interested, but please send us a message with a few words about you, your desired time period and why you would be a good fit.Types of help and learning opportunities

The Sierra de Cadiz is a beautiful, peaceful and, if you will allow me, magical area full of tradition and history. The locals love to celebrate and you will often find some sort of Fiesta going on. As for us, we are travellers at heart and have many stories to tell and experiences to share as well as being very open people who enjoy real exchanges with real people.
If you are new to the concept of veganism, we can help you reduce or remove animal products from your plate or wardrobe. We can show you ways to help create a more sustainable world, ways to reuse and recycle materials or generally use less, how to repair things around the house, how to build with wood as well as recycled or natural materials, how to run a (vegan) business, how to overcome challenges, how to be self-employed parents, how to manage stress, how to open up about your feelings and emotions and much more. We are open-minded and always keen to learn from YOU as well. (Edit July 2025: This won't be possible during the housesitting of course).Au Pair Help

You have a bedroom with ensuite bathroom for yourself. The house has a large modern kitchen, living room and huge outdoor area. There is plenty of space outside on the terrace to workout or do yoga, or just chill in the hammocks.
What else ...
The mountains offer lots of activities like hiking, biking, paragliding, climbing, watersports, yoga and running. You can meditate in idyllic nature. You can visit the beautiful white villages like El Bosque, Zahara de la Sierra, Olvera, Ronda, Algodonales, Grazalema and Ubrique. Make a trip to Jerez de la Frontera, Seville, Cadiz, Tarifa, Malaga or visit the pristine beaches of Costa de la Luz. From Villamartin you can travel by bus to Ronda, Malaga, Cadiz or Seville, and from there pretty well anywhere.

Clara and me stayed in the finca for almost two months in the summer of 2021. As this has been our very first workaway trip, I think you could say: We started on top of the Olymp. Because our experience with Nina, James and the Finca crew was out of this world! I'm not even kidding or… read more
