    Description

We are a youth initiative community based organization based in Jinja,Eastern Uganda, that was established in 2019 to support poor vulnerable communities including rural farmers, Orphaned children, youths, people living with HIV/AIDS and the disabled. After a series of issues affecting the rural communities in Uganda for example illiteracy, poor menstrual hygiene and poverty. The organisation is not for profit and provides education, health, skills to the youth, women and children that are in need of help through community outreach.

Our mission is to empower the underprivileged Youth, needy children, and women to fight poverty in Uganda rural communities through education support and sustainable development opportunities.
This is done through joining efforts with other stake holders to empower the marginalized communities and reintegrate them into a sustainable society in order to gain access to livelihood enhancements.

Access to good quality education will give these children the chance of a better future for themselves, their families and their communities.
We have three members on board, The chairperson who over sees and undertakes duties. He also monitors the activities of the organization. Secondly the vice chairperson who takes over duties in the absence of the chairperson. The third person is the general secretary who keeps the organization’s documents. The offices of the organization situated in Jinja district Eastern Uganda.

Since our establishment, we have made and implemented a number of projects.
In future we hope to establish a school to help the underprivileged children so that they can be able to attain good quality education. And for the youth to teach them practical skills because Learning practical skills will not only help them live alone but also give them renewed confidence and independence. A skilling center will be established to equip the youth with practical skills in Brick laying, Tailoring, Hairdressing, Modern Agriculture methods, Carpentry and Joinery, ICT skills and many others.

In fact our area is a sub urban town, very calm and at the outskirts of jinja city with good communication network and good transportation means. It’s a very calm place with very friendly and social people.
We shall be eagerly waiting to learn from your experiences as we share a lot both professional skills and non professional.
And still we always do outreaches to other areas which could help the volunteers to pay visit and tour the different areas with in Jinja district and beyond it.
