We are establishing a new garden around our new house set in an old Mill in the Perthshire countryside near where we have been farming cattle, sheep and bees.
Loch Tummel is stunning with unspoiled green countryside and hills (mountains) yet near Pitlochry, a popular tourist destination in the heart of Scotland.

Help with Eco project
We are very happy living in such a beautiful area so we want to share it with others.
This area of Perthshire has tremendous remote areas with interesting wildlife, birds, mushrooms and plants. We have mountains, forests and rivers for walks, rafting/canoeing sailing and canoes.
We are surrounded by old villages, abandoned 200 years ago when the landowners replaced people with sheep,(clearances 1750-1875)
We are on an important drovers road where the cattle were walked to markets in Crieff and down to England. There is an Iron/Bronze Age Fort possibly 1900-2300 years old on the farm.
We are in a great place to see birds and wildlife, be happy to make progress slowly and enjoy the quiet timeless country area at a walking pace.
We are farmers
Nick and Diana are living on site with 5 pet lambs a pet calf and 3 sheep dogs, We also have have a herd of 30 cattle and 400 sheep.
Your accommodation is a shepherds hut on wheels, a 2 roomed shed you will bath and shower in our new house.
Nick and I need help with a variety of jobs, in the house, farm and gardening.
Our very new house needs filling, painting and a bit of carpentry (bookcase, shelves in big cupboards) and around the farm we will be putting in sheep ear tags or sorting lambs for market. There are tea plants in a field that need watering and weeding, fences often need mending and establishing our new garden paths, planting and to help with building stone steps and dry stone walls.
We always need wood collected and splitting for the wood burning stove.
there is a shop, a pub, swimming pool and a fish and chip shop, only 3 miles away. we have bicycles and can drive you to Pitlochry or the village of Tummel Bridge for a bus.
