Description
We're living in Transylvania in a beautiful village near Cluj. We live in a house in the countryside where we would love help for mostly outside work like gardening, taking care of the friut trees and all things that need tender care in the yard. There you can help us also build fireplaces, barbeque places and pizza/bread ovens the traditional way.
Part of our family are our animals, so for those of you who are animals lovers, you might get the opportunity to help us out with them. Like feeding and maintanace in their housing but of course also lots of cuddles.
The airport is on a 25 minutes distance. You'll find the bus and railway station downtown Cluj.

The area is stunning and a blessing for nature lovers. Long walks, mountain biking. A fishing lake is nearby. The weather in summer is excellent for all of this. There are a lot of cultural / historical places to visit in a close distance like; the old city center, churches, museums, botanical garden, salt mines/lakes etc. Also we have the old village museum where you can see houses from the long past.
The swimmingpool is on 5 min. walking distance.
For the ones who like to party in the free time, Cluj is about 20 minutes away and with 100.000 students from all over the world and hundreds of bars and clubs, having a good nightlife is no problem. (transport available and the taxi is cheap)
We like good, honest food; a nice breakfast and fresh warm lunch/dinner will be prepared for you everyday, served in our garden with fireplace or inside the house. You will be staying in a room with heathing and a bathroom.

Youlll help us in our proects of building a fireplace and pizzzaoven but also assist in taking care of our animals.
Also there is plenty of work to do arround the house like collecting woods, maintenance, gardening etc

We are lucky to have a great place with plenty of garden, a cat, dogs, horses, donkey all in a natural environment. You can find your rest and chill somewhere at the property or be busy all day - there is always something to do ;)

I cannot express what a wonderful time I had here! Everyday was delicious food, lots of wifi, and plenty of board games. My stay at Salicea was great. The place is beautiful, calm and I felt most welcomed.

This place is an adventure in progress as they experiment with building with strawbale, work is not for the weak hearted but the hours are very fair and Peter, Ulrica, Assia and the kids go out of their way to make you comfortable. We enjoyed our time here especially Ulricas wonderful cooking!

Gladys is such a warm and good hearted person with a great desire to learn new things. She is so nice with kids and animals and her private concerts around the fire were beautiful.
