Description
Hello friends; my name is Gerardo, but you can call me Jerry.
I live In Cordoba, Veracruz; near Xalapa, the capital city.
I want to build a little green roof garden at the top of a hotel. I dont really have much experience building green roofs, but that's where you can help me.
If you have experience with green roofs and/or hydrophonics you'd be of great help.
The area in which I want to install the green roof is not very big, as you'll see in the pictures. I'm trying to build it as organic as possible and use the hydroponics cultivation method.
You'd be staying in one of the hotel rooms ; depending on availability. So, food and lodging is provided friends!
In your spare time you can take a stroll through the streets of Cordoba, enjoy of Colonial arquitecture and very old churches.
The food here is also great and affordable, and lots to choose from. You can go to the local market and buy very cheap delicious food or hit the downtown and enjoy beautiful traditional dishes and a very musical atmosphere.
You can also visit the various museums and cultural projects of the city. I can show you around the different points of interest of the city.
Cordoba is near Xalapa, Veracruz the capital city of Veracruz and near Orizaba; famous for its snow covered hikable mountains; you can totally visit them on your days off.
The work atmosphere is chill and relaxed. Taking it as it goes. The working hours expected are 5 hours a day 5 days per week.
A little about me:
Call me Jerry; I like to relax and enjoy doing the things I love. I'm cool with the four-twenty. I also like to walk around the city and meet new people with different points of view. I'm 20 years old and I like to practice yoga and meditate.
I also work as a volunteer in an inmigrant shelter from time to time and I could introduce you to Las Patronas, the group of women that protect, defend and shelter those who come through Mexico from Central America to Reach the US.
