I did this volunteer work in August 2024. It was truly beautiful. Martín and Flor are very compassionate people, and they have a beautiful family. Martín is a great leader; he manages the volunteer activities very well and gives clear instructions. The activities are fun and also contribute to the community.

… read more genuinely care about getting to know others and sharing, and I believe they have a very inspiring vision of what it means to be a conscious human being, part of this earth. The home is in the middle of nature, surrounded by many trees and a very peaceful energy, and it's also very comfortable. They will help you with everything. I have a lot of affection for them.

Felt at home in this unique place in the nature! waking up with the birds sound with a beatiful sunrise in front of you throughout the palms whilst kangooro are jumping around! connection and slow life happens here! The community is part of this volunteering opportunity!

This was one of the first places we stopped when we arrived in Australia; we couldn't have had a better welcome. We have been there for a week and we have felt very welcomed by Flo, Martin, their family and the rest of the inhabitants of the place.
They have treated us very well from the beginning, helping us and offering us advice for our first

In many of the tasks we have done, they have also participated actively. We did house maintenance, worked in the garden and even learned how to make a wooden and clay staircase structure.
We stayed in a spacious camper trailer, prepared for the rain and with kitchen. The space is amazing, it's in the middle of a rainforest valley where, besides seeing lots of birds, you can find wallabies.

Florence and Martin where both so helpful in picking me up or dropping me off so I was able to visit the local markets and Noosa Nationalpark. We had such a great stay with Martin, Flo and their two lovely children. We stayed in a little caravan in their garden, close to their house. It was well stocked and comfortable. There was a composting toilet and outdoor shower that we could use and they offered us to use the toilet in their house at night. They have a big pool which was great to

We really enjoyed the work that we did around their land - pulling down old structures, whipper-snipping long grass and fixing the chook shed. We even collected some guineafowl one day which we loved! Martin and Flo were very reasonable and flexible with their work expectations, only asking for 3 hours a day at the times we were comfortable working. We tended to wake up early and get a couple of hours done, then do the last hour once the sun had cooled down. In exchange for each day of work, we had a meal made by Martin in the evening which was always delicious because he is a fantastic chef!
Their property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by mountains and trees. We didn't come with a car, which you need to get to the supermarket and around the area as there isn't public transport nearby. Martin and Flo very generously lent us their car when we needed it and we really appreciated this. They are such a lovely, welcoming family and we loved spending time with their kids (and guineapigs) too. They are a very sociable family and often have visitors and other guests staying there which creates a nice atmosphere.
We did a beautiful walk to the lookout that you can access from their back garden. We also enjoyed day trips to the Eumumdi markets, Noosa and Nambura to go to the cinema.
We would highly recommend staying with this family, we loved our time with them and are very grateful that they hosted us (last minute too) - thank you ♥️You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
