  Hello! We're Sophie and Ignacio, creating a life project in the middle of nature, surrounded by forest and mountains, an hour far from San Cristóbal de las Casas. We're looking for conscious people who enjoy living and working in the countryside. We offer accommodation and food in a healthy environment.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  We live in a mixed community of locals and expats on a fairly large piece of land where we can connect with nature. There are many activities we can do together, such as hiking, yoga, meditation, slacklining, astronomy, etc. We share what we know and love, and we hope to learn new things together.
  
  Vivimos en una comunidad mixta de personas locales y extranjeros en un terreno bastante grande donde poder encontrarse con la naturaleza. Hay muchas actividades que podemos realizar juntos, como caminatas por el monte, yoga, meditación, slackline, astronomía, etc..Compartimos lo que sabemos hacer, y nos gusta, y esperamos poder aprender juntos cosas nuevas.

  Help

  We're looking for help with ranch-related tasks. Planting, maintenance, animal care, construction, etc. Ideally, you'd already have some knowledge of organic farming or other related tasks, or simply a willingness to learn. We believe it's important to make it clear that this is a remote location, so we're looking for healthy, clear-minded people.
  
  Buscamos ayuda con las tareas propias de un rancho. Siembra, mantenimiento, cuidado de animales, construcción, etc...Lo ideal sería ya tener conocimiento de agricultura orgánica o de otras labores relacionadas, o simplemente, tener ganas de aprender. Creemos importante hacer saber que es un lugar apartado, por lo que se busca gente sana y con las ideas claras.

  Newly built volunteer cabin with beautiful views. Shared bathroom and outdoor kitchen. Light breakfast, lunch, and dinner are shared, depending on our schedules and eating habits.
  
  Cabaña para voluntarios con lindas vistas recién construida. Baño y cocina exterior compartidos. Se comparte desayuno ligero, almuerzo y comida , según nuestros horarios y hábitos alimenticios.

  What else ...

  As part of a network of friends and projects in the area, we offer direct contact with other projects, both in the mountains and in the city, if the person would like to stay in the area and explore other volunteer opportunities. We can pick up volunteers in San Cristóbal and return them at a time that suits them.
  
  Cómo parte de una red de amigos y proyectos en la zona, ofrecemos contacto directo con otros proyectos, tanto en el monte como en la ciudad, si es que la persona gusta de quedarse por la zona y conocer otras opciones de voluntariado.
  Podemos recoger voluntarios en San Cristóbal y llevarlos de vuelta de acuerdo a los tiempos.
