Hej! I'm Sonja and live in a small village in South Lapland, Sweden with my two cats. I am currently renovating my house and could use some help this summer painting the outside.

This area is great for hiking and biking. There is a large lake for swimming, kayaking and fishing. I have a couple of bicycles you are welcome to use as well as two kayaks. There's some fishing gear lying around that you are welcome to use as well.
Help
The biggest project this summer is painting the wooden siding of the house and all that entails. Scraping off lose paint and then painting. It's not rocket science but also not super exciting. If you can assist with some carpentry projects to whatever skill level you have that would be great too. Otherwise some lawn mowing and simple garden maintenance.

It's a pretty big house and you will have your own room. The house is fully equipment and comfortable. There is a wood stoked hot tub on the porch as well as a sauna in the house. High speed internet is usually pretty steady.
I'm pretty flexible when it comes to food. I will cook a few times a week and you can eat with me or eat whatever I cook by yourself, totally up to you. If you prefer to cook your own food I can provide ingredients for you. What else ...

If you have a valid drivers licence, you are welcome to use my ATV to drive around in the vicinity. You are welcome to join me to drive to the city (Umeå or Örnsköldsvik) once a week. There is a bus to the city as well but it only goes a couple of times a day.
Apart from the activities mentioned there is not a lot to do here so if you are a social butterfly this might not be for you. You are welcome to come alone but as I said there are not a lot of people to do things with and you might get lonely. So if it's 2, 3 or 4 of you that would be much more enjoyable for you during work as well as your time off.
