  Description

  I am Salvador, founder of a nonprofit organisation registered in Norway. Our mission is to help people facing extreme poverty continue their education and complete university. We are building connections between Norway and Mexico.
  
  We are at an early stage: assembling our team, exploring partnerships and designing our first pilot. We welcome people who enjoy turning an idea into a practical, responsible project. You can contribute in one of three areas: social business, AI and digital systems, or storytelling and community. You do not need to cover all three.
  
  This is a collaborative project, not an established programme with every task already fixed. We will agree realistic weekly goals together according to your skills and the needs of the organisation. Your contribution will be exclusively for the non profit organisation.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Join Salvador in developing an early-stage nonprofit connecting Norway and Mexico. We can exchange perspectives on education, social entrepreneurship, responsible technology and communicating a social mission. You can practise English or Spanish with the host and experience life in a coastal village in Lofoten, with time to explore the local landscape on your days off. We value learning from your skills and experiences as well.

  Help

  Choose the area that best fits your skills:
  
  SOCIAL BUSINESS
  Help outline our first education pilot, research potential university or nonprofit partners in Mexico, draft a simple pilot budget and explore an ethical, sustainable model and clear responsibilities.
  
  AI AND DIGITAL SYSTEMS
  Help organise project information and shared documents, set up simple collaboration and follow-up tools, and explore responsible automation that saves the team time. Use sample or non-sensitive information when testing tools.
  
  STORYTELLING AND COMMUNITY
  Help prepare a short presentation of the organisation, draft honest website or social content, plan our first volunteer recruitment campaign and research ways to connect with educational partners.
  
  These are initial directions, not a requirement to complete everything during one stay. We will select achievable tasks together and review progress weekly. Students and people with equivalent practical experience are welcome; reliability, initiative and clear communication matter. No guest reception, accommodation cleaning or other private business tasks are part of this exchange.

  Accommodation

  Accommodation is provided in Sund, Lofoten, with access to a kitchen for self-catering. Meals and groceries are at your own expense. We will confirm the room arrangements and available dates before agreeing a stay.

  Based in Sund, Lofoten Islands, Norway.
  
  Please tell us which of the three roles interests you, what skills or practical experience you bring, and your proposed dates. We will discuss availability, accommodation, transport and a realistic first set of tasks before confirming your stay.
  
  The exchange is approximately 15 hours per week over five days, with two days off. Accommodation is included; food is not. You buy and prepare your own meals using the kitchen.
  
  We are still developing the project, so flexibility and constructive ideas are welcome. We do not promise direct work with students during your stay.
