Description
We are an NGO whose priority has always been developing and educating ourselves as a society. We are always looking for ways to improve our household/warehouse which we renovated inspired by the work of Michael Reynolds and his earthships. This year we want to work on our facilities so that the life here can be as comfortable as its possible, for you, for us, but mainly for our three dogs and one cat. We need plumbers and electricians to help us with the installations but if you don't have such skills we always need some motivated pair of hands to help us build, clean and upgrade. Apart from organizing events such as festivals, concerts, workshops and dinner nights we spend a lot of time taking care of our garden for which we'll need help with the start of spring.

Village Wolimierz in Izerski Mountain, in south – west Poland, closed to ski resort Świeradów Zdrój. 1800m from Czech Republic and 40km from Germany. Beautiful area with a lot of historical sites and pretty landscape.
Artistic and ecological village Wolimierz, with it’s own street-theatre company, which runs a gallery, a pub, and rooms for events in the old train station. Musicians, craftsmen, and artists of all kinds, settled down in Wolimierz and the surrounding areas. From time to time, concerts, festivals, and workshops attract many people from all ages and liven up the whole village. Some families carry on ecological farming and sell their products and crafts...

This was incredible! A gorgeous location in picturesque area and surroundings. Lots of opportunities for walks in the forest or contemplations with a cup of tea.

I had a great time at this workaway.
I had my own private van to stary in, which was an old ambulance which was super cool. People there serem very open and easy going. There was always plenty od food and many iteams came straight from their garden. Jobs were varied and everyone could do something that they loved.

I spent 3 weeks in Wolimierz, last summer, it was my first workaway experience. The place is really exceptional, and so are the people. The meals and the food in the garden were great!
Everyone was friendly, concert punk was cool.

I had a great month with Frank and Konstancja, the environment is warm, relaxed and unconventional, the work varies a lot but is always fun and manageable. Both hosts are great people who have a lot to teach and to share, and the volunteers were a great crowd too. I hope to be back some day.
