    We're a British couple who live in a town called Velez-Malaga which is about 50km to the east of Malaga. We are a family of six including our son (who is 11), an old Spanish Water Dog, a rabbit and a hamster.

    We have a digital marketing company with clients in the UK. We fell in love with Spain more than 20 years ago, when we met in Granada while studying. We have renovated a listed townhouse in the historic centre of Velez-Malaga. When we have some free time we like to go walking into the mountains, hang out at the beach, watch movies and generally enjoy our house and town.

    Velez-Malaga is the 'real' Andalucia. An insight to the daily routine and customs of the Southern Spanish. There will be ferias and fiestas in and around the town which is a cultural experience. We have many Spanish history books in English as well as a back catalogue of Spanish films.

    We are a busy family who are looking for trusted people or person to look after our dog, rabbit, hamster and plants while we're away during the summer months (June - September).
    We have a hobby website on Velez-Malaga so if there's someone who would like to gain some experience managing the social channels, creating content and updating the website then we can consider this too.

    We have three ensuite bedrooms so the volunteer will have their own room and bathroom. We have a small gym (rowing machine, cross-trainer and spin bike) as well as a dipping pool that can be used. WiFi through-out the house.

    Velez-Malaga is a typical southern Spanish working town with bars, restaurants and shops all a short walk away. There are bus routes to other towns and villages too. The nearest beach is Caleta or Torre del Mar (7km) and 10-15mins away, Malaga city is only 35 minutes' drive away and the coastal town of Nerja is only 15 minutes' drive away.
