Description
We are a family run guesthouse and cafe that have operated in Graiguenamanagh for the past 25 years. A husband and wife team, as well as our two daughters who pitch in and help during college holidays. We also have a number of local staff that are part of the team for the busy summer season. Our business is located in a small town on the banks of the river Barrow, County Kilkenny, Ireland. We have a 10 bedroom bed and breakfast, friendly cafe and retail area. We also run guided rowing holidays for rowing clubs coming from all around the world. It is a great destination for outdoor activity enthusiasts and the location will suit someone who does want to experience the Irish countryside. So we try to run a relaxed and fun operation especially with visitors and clubs visiting on a repeat basis. We enjoy having a workaway team from different nationalities that all coperate to make a great extended family. We still keep in touch with several Workaway staff that were here in previous years and great to hear about their travels.

Help
We are offering a live in position for one person. We like all our team to be flexible and experience different departments, but for 2025 we are particularly looking for cooking and Kitchen staff, as well as maybe some reception and housekeeping. Barista skills would be fantastic but most skills can be learned on the job.
