French Canadian experience with our friendly young family in Montréal, Canada

  Description

  We are looking for someone that could stay at least 2-3 months (if all goes well) starting in mid-January 2025 to June 2025.
  
  We are a super friendly young family with 3 children, two twin girls aged 6 and one older boy aged 8. We live in a large newly constructed house in Rosemont, close to downtown Montreal. We are looking to host someone who would be willing to help out around the house, primarily cooking (we love to eat healthy food and discover all kind of food! vegans are welcome) and light cleaning (with already have a cleaning lady), and also help with the children. The children go to school during the day so the help would between 7am and 8:30am and after 4pm to 8pm. You can work or do as you please during the day.
  
  In exchange, we are offering a a great French Canadian experience, where you can learn both French & English, should you wish, as well as other cultural sights and sounds typical of Eastern Canadian life. We also go to our cottage up north close to the mountains during the weekends. You can come with us or stay in town. We are really flexible and accommodating. We are an active family but need help as both parents are working full time. We often work from home. Our house is very well located, so it will be easy to go from place to place :) We can provide you with a public transit monthly pass. We have available for a potential guest a private bedroom with shared bathroom with only the kids.
  
  We have host French, Mexican and German people and we all loved it! It is such an amazing experience for everyone. Kids love to have people around and learn things from people of other cultures.
  
  
  Nous sommes une jeune famille accueillante avec 3 jeunes enfants, des jumelles de 6 ans et un garçon de 8 ans. Nous habitons dans une nouvelle maison à Rosemont, Montréal. Nous aimerions accueillir sous notre toit une personne qui est à l'aise avec les jeunes enfants et qui voudrait nous aider avec nos tâches quotidiennes de la maison, principalement la préparation des repas et quelques tâches ménagères, en échange d'une belle expérience Franco-Canadienne :) Notre langue maternelle est le français, mais parlons couramment l'anglais. Vous serez magnifiquement situé pour visiter Montréal et les environs, ainsi que tout le Québec! Nous avons une chambre au sous-sol avec un accès privé à l'extérieur et une salle de bain privée pour notre invitée.

  French & English languages, which we are fluent in, cultural exchange of life in Canada as well as French Canadian culture, possibility to travel with us around the Province of Quebec! We have a sugar shack near Rimouski and a cottage, we also have family in Quebec City and we go there often.
  
  Apprendre le français et l'anglais. Nous avons une cabane à sucre près de Rimouski ainsi qu'un chalet. Nous avons également de la famille dans la ville de Québec.

  We would need a help around the house mainly meal prep/cooking, light cleaning and help with the children, maybe babysitting a little as well so the parents can go out for a night out ; )

  We are native to the province of Quebec so we can recommend all the sights not to be missed as well as accompanying you around the city. Urban transport (buses & subways) are great in Montreal, as is the dining, museums, shopping, heritage sights. Many things to do & see will be at your fingertips since we are very well located! If you are a student, we have great connection to university.
