    Description

Located on an evolving recreational park a little west of Nijmegen in the center of the Netherlands, becoming gradually more self-sufficient.
    This project combines:
    woodworking,
    Selfsustanability,
    ecological creativity,
    practical building,
and creating a symbiotic way of living together.
The atmosphere here matters a lot.

    I value:
    sincerity,
    calm communication,
    practical cooperation,
    creativity,
    initiative,
    emotional groundedness,
    and enough personal space.

    Current projects
    Current projects include:
    stacking and organizing timber,
building a tunnel greenhouse over two containers to create a large wood and metal workshop,
    creative woodworking projects such as:
    garden benches,
    picnic tables,
    cutting boards,
laser engraving quotes into beautiful wood slices.
Taking care of the veggie garden
    Taking care of the goat
setting up the workshop and installing three-phase electricity,
    experimenting with ecological building,
and gradually improving the land and infrastructure.

The first volunteer will mainly help with relatively simple tasks and practical support.
Looking forward to host 3–4 volunteers, and build more creative volunteer accommodation.
    outdoor kitchen
    workshop improvements,
    and treehouse-style accommodation.

This place is probably best suited for people who enjoy:
    nature,
    meaningful practical tasks,
    calm mornings,
    rhythm,
    and grounded lifestyle.
    People who:
    can think independently,
    cooperate calmly,
    take initiative,
    usually fit best here.

    Daily rhythm
    Typical rhythm:
    silence (“noble silence”) until 08:00,
    shared breakfast/coffee/tea from 07:45–08:30,
    focused help during the day,
    lunch break from 11:30–13:00,
    helpday ending around 15:00,
    shared dinner around 18:30.
    Evenings may include:
    relaxing around a small fire,
    guitar music,
    meaningful conversations,
or simply enjoying the atmosphere and nature.

    No drugs or weed.
    This is not
    This is not:
    a party house,
    a therapy center,
    or a free holiday place.

It is a real evolving project built around:
    practical creativity,
    cooperation,
    beauty,
    meaningful work,
and creating an environment that feels alive and symbiotic.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Possible learning experiences include:
    timber processing and woodworking,
    practical building skills,
    ecological project development,
    building infrastructure with limited funds,
organizing and developing a more self-sufficient lifestyle project,
cooperation and communication within shared living and working environments,
and learning how atmosphere, rhythm, and structure influence both tasks and well-being.

I especially enjoy exchanging ideas about:
    ecological living,
    meaningful tasks,
    Self-sufficient lifestyles,
building more symbiotic ways of living and cooperating together.

In free time there is also space for creativity, relaxation, exploration, and personal projects.
Depending on the interests of the group, we can
visit some old trees collect spring water
go to a big lake or the river nearby,

    visit inspiring places or gatherings,
make a campfire evening with music.
Work on small personal creative projects.

I enjoy supporting motivated volunteers in learning practical skills or creating small projects for themselves.
At the same time, I value personal space and some quiet time , So the project works best with people who can enjoy both:
Working together and independent time in nature or around the project.
Weekends are more open and flexible, we can figure out together what feels good for you,and is nice to do.
