With a large cactus garden, mountain of boulders, various buildings with unique architecture, and some great views! There are lots of fun places to explore and projects to get involved in. I am a retired teacher and enjoy meeting new people and travelers. I have lived here for 30 years and my husband and I developed this special land, its animal and plant life.

The property is large and there is much to do. We need help with small construction, organizing, composting, clipping trees/bushes, maintenance, and other odd jobs.
Lodging is a private room in a small separate cottage. Quiet and beautiful setting next to an outcropping of large boulders. There is a shared bathroom with toilet and sink and hot indoor shower just a few steps away. Small fridge, microwave, and toaster oven as well as other kitchen supplies available. Weather permitting, camping is welcome.
There are many things to see and do, including hiking and climbing in Joshua Tree National Park, music festivals, art tours and monthly gallery crawl. Yoga classes are also close by. We are located 5 miles from downtown Joshua Tree. Last but not least, farmer's market every Saturday. We are located 45 minutes from Palm Springs and hot mineral pools at Desert Hot Springs.
