  Description

  I am a sound engineer working on concerts and theaters, and I started refurbishing an old farm house built in 1750, lost in the woods with lots of garden / yard spaces in a very quiet place, elevation 800m. I want to welcome projects in relation with wellness, nature and art: permaculture, yoga and meditation sessions, artistic retreat, etc... I sometime organize concerts, and try to make the place as welcoming as possible to artistic creation.
  We are located 10km from the alsacian wine yards with beautiful villages like Kaysersberg or Ribeauvillé, there is also the Haut Konigsbourg castle which is incredible. In our mountains you'll find nice hiking trails, lakes and beautiful forest and of course yummy local products! We have a dog (super friendly) and two cats so you'd better not be allergic...
  
  Ingénieur du son je travaille sur les concerts et théâtres et je me suis lancé dans un projet qui me tient à coeur: je rénove une ferme vosgienne de 1750, perdue au milieu de la forêt avec 1,4ha de terrain, très au calme à 800m d'altitude. L'idée est d'en faire un lieu d'accueil pour des projets liés à la nature ou au bien être: permaculture, stages de yoga ou de méditation, résidence d'artistes, plantes médicinales etc... J'organise aussi des concerts de temps en temps, et aménage l'espace pour permettre aux artistes de venir créer sereinement.
  Nous sommes à 10km du célèbre vignoble alsacien, et proches de nombreux villages ou monuments remarquables: Kaysersberg, Ribeauvillé, le Haut Koenigsbourg, etc... et la vallée est pleine de richesses: sentiers de randonnée, superbes produits locaux
  Nous avons un chien et deux chats, avis aux allergiques!

  You'll enjoy the quiet surrounding and the beautiful scenery, nice hiking trails just next to my place. I'll be glad to share my skills with helpers and also to learn from them. I can teach you to spot edible and healing herbs and mushrooms, and make you discover the good products of the valley (cheese, honey). I could also teach you how to brew beer, to play the guitar, to tile a floor or repair your car everything depends on what you are keen on discovering!
  
  Workawayers will be fully integrated to the life of the house, and proposed to be part of every activity. I like to cook and also to discover other people's meals so if you're kean on that we could exchange a lot!
  
  Vous profiterez d'un cadre idyllique et reposant avec de belles randonnées à faire tout autour. Je serai heureux de partager mes connaissances, et apprendre des autres. Je peux vous apprendre à reconnaître les plantes et champignons du coin et vous faire gouter les bons produits de la vallée, vous apprendre à brasser de la bière, poser du carrelage ou jouer de la guitare.
  Les Workawayers seront pleinement intégrés à la vie de la maison, et bienvenus dans toutes les activités.

  An aromatic garden is already done, and I would need help to improve / maintain the garden and outdoors, or to work with me on the house or tractor if you are skilled.
  
  
  J'ai déjà monté un jardin aromatique et un potager esprit permaculture. J'aurais besoin de coups de main pour améliorer et entretenir le jardin et les espaces naturels, ou pour rénover la maison ou le tracteur si vous êtes bricoleur.

  We will eat together, and my food is common food. I like to cook but also like to discover other people's cuisine, so feel free to cook you favorite meals!
  
  Nous mangerons ensemble, et mes provisions sont partagées. J'aime cuisiner mais aussi découvrir la cuisine des autres donc n'hésitez pas à préparer vos plats favoris!
  
  Vous aurez une chambre privative (lits doubles donc couples bienvenus) avec salle de bain partagée.
  
  J'offre le couvert en échange du travail. Je suis ouvert aux echanges culinaires!
