  🌿 Cougourdane – A place of water, life and creation
  
  Welcome to Cougourdane!
  My name is Emmanuel, and I live here on a 4-hectare plateau in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, with an open view over the Durance valley.
  
  After more than 35 years of committed architectural work, I chose to root here a more essential form of research, in direct connection with the living world. I am cultivating a place that is both simple and deeply inspiring, where nature, creation, care and transformation come together.
  
  Here, silence is precious.
  The space is wide open.
  And everything is constantly evolving.
  
  Cougourdane is much more than a place to live: it is a living laboratory.
  
  🌊 Living water, habitat and transformation
  
  Here, I develop projects around living water: ecological pools, vortex research, water-based care, energetic experiments and natural geometries.
  
  The place is intended to welcome:
  - workshops and retreats that we regularly organize
  - a space for deep renewal and reconnection
  - a place for sharing knowledge around water, care and the living world
  - architectural experiments, such as light habitats, domes and ecological structures
  
  I am also moving toward greater autonomy:
  - vegetable garden, orchard and chickens
  - water and energy management
  - natural health practices
  
  Beauty is an essential part of this place. It guides my choices, my gestures and my creations.

  Depending on the season and current needs, activities may include:
  - vegetable gardening and maintenance of the place

  - taking part in experimental architectural projects
  - helping during workshops and events, including welcoming guests, logistics and organization

  I am happy to share my knowledge in ecological architecture, living geometry, sustainable design and innovative projects.

  Bienvenue à Cougourdane !
  Je suis Emmanuel, et je vis ici, sur un plateau de 4 hectares au cœur des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, avec une vue ouverte sur la vallée de la Durance.
  Après plus de 35 ans d’architecture engagée, j'ai choisi d’ancrer ici une recherche plus essentielle, en lien direct avec le Vivant. Je cultive un lieu à la fois simple et profondément inspirant, où se rencontrent nature, création, soin et transformation.
  Ici, le silence est précieux.
  L’espace est vaste.
  Et tout est en évolution.
  Cougourdane est bien plus qu’un lieu de vie : c’est un laboratoire du Vivant.
  
  🌊 Eau vivante, habitat et transformation
  Je développe ici des projets autour de l’eau vivante: bassins écologiques, recherche sur les vortex, soin dans l’eau, expérimentations énergétiques et géométries naturelles.
  Le lieu a vocation à accueillir :
  - des stages et retraites que nous organisons régulièrement
  - un espace de ressourcement profond
  - un lieu de transmission autour de l’eau, du soin et du vivant
  - des expérimentations architecturales (habitats légers, dômes, structures écologiques)
  J'avance aussi vers plus d’autonomie :
  - potager, verger, poules
  - gestion de l’eau et de l’énergie
  - pratiques de santé naturelle
  La beauté fait partie intégrante du lieu. Elle guide mes choix, mes gestes et mes créations.

  Accommodation

  Travelers are accommodated in a pretty recent caravan with a double bed, a sitting area and a small kitchen. Those who come to Van or in a tent are also welcome and can use outdoor shower and kitchen facilities. Depending on the period, they can be accommodated in the house.
  Meals will be organized collectively by adapting to everyone's eating habits. Those who prefer to cook can access the kitchen.

  Les voyageurs sont logés dans une jolie caravane assez récente avec un lit double, un coin salon et une petite cuisine. Ceux qui viennent en Van ou en tente sont également les bienvenus et peuvent utiliser les sanitaires extérieurs. Selon la période, ils peuvent être logés dans la maison.
