Description
About Us as a creative studio
Hi! we’re a creative photography studio and cultural space based in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. We are a group of photographers and artists who work mainly in film photography, including analogue processing, darkroom printing, and creative projects focused on local heritage and visual storytelling.
There are 12 team members, including 1 director, 4 photographers, 3 videographers, 2 film developers and 2 makeup artists.
Our studio mainly runs in 2 spaces:
🕰️ Our vintage design studio
🎞 A film Lab for analogue lovers
🌿 Our Vision
Us, rather than a design studio, it's more like a creative community. Our goal is to connect people through photography and art that weave our local stories, showcasing Batu Pahat's cultural charm to the world. We have hosted events, exhibitions and artist residencies throughout our 10-year journey. (p.s Our space has a hidden coffee space where locals come for their coffee cravings.)

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
🌏 Culture Exchange
Creativity and the local culture thrive in our space. By sharing, both parties could learn from one another and cultivate meaningful memories through our interaction. Travellers could fully immerse themselves in living in a Malaysian art collective while working side by side with our photographers, local artists, and baristas. We take pride in our film photography, and we believe you’ll learn how our projects and events celebrate the soul of Batu Pahat a local town rich in history, heritage, and local friendliness.
We are stories collectives. Events like photo walks, art gatherings, and exhibitions tell local stories through our images, or we can simply enjoy long coffee chats with locals. For us, you as an individual who encapsulates your own story, we’d love to learn about your culture, art and ideas too. It is truly a two-way exchange of creativity that bridges cultures. -
