I am looking for volunteers, prepared to meet the points below. Please ensure you have at least enough English to be able to take simple instruction .
The mission statement of our project is to develop a small centre for the development of shared skills for growing and preparing fresh food from our 1 acre site using aquaponics, no-dig gardening, organic methods and some elements of permaculture. Integral to this is a food preparation area for the community to use to process the harvest from the garden with tutoring by locally skilled people.
Workaway volunteers will asked to help in the physical help of preparing the grounds and workshops and hopefully will have the following skills ; energy, horticulture skills, humour, building skills, adaptability, an interest in ecology, an open mind, any ideas on land art and last of all humour - oh I already said that!
The project outdoors is in early stages.
I am looking for volunteers with practical experience of horticulture or garden design or permaculture or low impact structures, including a new greenhouse, a shed, a pond and a small oak framed building.
Please be prepared for physical tasks.

Landscaping , horticulture, building.
If you have experience of horticulture or building small outdoor buildings that would be great. There is a lot of clearing of the land necessary as well as building raised beds and making new growing areas.
Accommodation will be in a outbuilding that include a bedroom, kitchen and seating are that is separate from the house and is very comfortable.
We live near to the following towns; Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and Bristol and Bath are both about 25 miles away with many buses nearby. There are many pubs, music venues and historical sites in Somerset as well as the history of Bath and the exciting vibe in Bristol. There is a very economical local bus direct to central London for £30 return called Berry's Coaches.
