    Description

We are a small group of international friends in our 40s who have come together to createan intentional off-grid community surrounded by the peaceful nature of Alentejo, South Portugal. We are not a business activity.
We're a community focus on families and kids.

Our vision is to live close to the land, grow our own food, and host gatherings that promote art, connection, sustainability, wellbeing, and personal growth.

One of our priorities is to create a truly family-friendly environment: a place where children can play freely in nature and be cared for, while parents are able to take part in community life or enjoy retreats with peace of mind.

Music, creativity, and celebration are also a big part of what inspires us here.

At the moment we are still in an early stage of development. That means we're not running any event or activity yet, there’s still plenty to do: from building, gardening and helping with daily life in the community. If you’re energetic, proactive, and happy to lend a hand in different areas, you’re a great fit.

    We’ve recently built:
    🎪 A brand-new event space
    🏡 Volunteer house
    🧖‍♀️ Sauna
    🌿 Garden
    👶 Children’s area
    🎤 Stage for open-air events

There is also a lake where you can take a swim in the hottest hours of the day.

    Other practical info:
Closest city: Odemira (20 km) – supermarkets, restaurants, bus station, healthcare and wellness services.
    🚌 Bus to/from Odemira: 2x per day
    🚆 Santa Clara–Saboia train station ~20 km
🚗 Community car available (when free) – €0.20/km
🧺 Washing machine (with eco detergent)
    📶 Wi-Fi from 8:00 to 24:00

    Volunteering with us
As a volunteer we can offer you accommodation with your own kitchen in exchange for 3 days of work per week (5 hours per day). The rest of the time is yours to enjoy the beauty of Alentejo, community life, and the facilities of community. You’ll need to provide your own food.

    Minimun Stay: 2 weeks

🚐 Best suited for those with their own means of transport.
    Animals are NOT welcome.

If you feel called to live simply, connect with nature, and contribute with kindness, openness, and accountability, then this place may be the right place for you. We welcome you to join us in shaping this community, sharing your gifts, and enjoying the journey together.

  • Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Cultural exchange is at the heart of what we’re creating. We are a small group of international friends with diverse backgrounds, and we love sharing skills, ideas, and inspiration with those who come to join us.

    🌍 Connection & Community Life
As a volunteer, you’ll be part of our daily rhythm — sharing meals, laughter, and conversations that naturally create a sense of community. We often gather around music, creativity, and celebration, which means plenty of opportunities for singing, drumming, or simply enjoying the joy of being together.

    🌱 Learning & Sharing Skills
You’ll have the chance to learn practical skills related to off-grid living, gardening, eco-building, and event hosting. At the same time, we’re curious to learn from you — whether that’s a craft, a language, a song, or a new way of seeing the world.

    🎶 Art & Celebration
Music and creativity play a big role here. Volunteers are welcome to join jam sessions, create events, or share their own talents. We believe art is a universal language that bridges cultures.

    👨‍👩‍👧 Family & Cultural Exchange
Because we are family-friendly, there’s a lively mix of adults and children. It’s a great space to experience intergenerational community life and see how kids thrive when surrounded by nature and creativity.

    ✨ Mutual Inspiration
Hosting people from around the world helps us broaden our perspectives, stay inspired, and keep the place alive with new ideas. In return, we hope volunteers leave with a sense of belonging, connection to nature, and memories of meaningful exchange.
