Description
Edition 2/05/2025:
We live in Wrocław, namely: Marek and I, and our adult son, who studies German studies at the University of Wrocław. We live with animals: two cats and a dog. Marek works at the University, he is a logician. I am a tutor, I often work from home.
We have a second apartment opposite our apartment and there are two rooms, a large kitchen, a small bathroom, and one room is for our volunteers. The second room is at our disposal or for rent. This means that other people could live there. I am looking for someone to practice my English and I need help with housekeeping and gardening.
OR if you are from Spain (esp. Santiago de Compostela), write to us! This will be the destination of my son's Erasmus trip.
We can help each other together.
We are a non-denominational family, but we are interested in the history and theory of religion.
We are a vegetarian family.
We do not drink alcohol or smoke.
If this is valuable to you, as it is to us, you are welcome!
And I want to add that I sometimes sing.
Maybe you can teach me a folk song from your country, what do you think about it?:);)
I need volunteers from May to June (or even July) for simple tasks: gardening, painting walls, and cleaning. My schedule in May is pretty much the same every day.
1. I woke up before 7 am. 2. A short walk with the dog. 3. Sometimes I have online classes.
4. Around 10 a.m. I drive with the dog outside the city, 10 km from home. You can join this walk. We usually have very interesting discussions with our volunteers. A walk in the field, near the river Ślęza. At least 1 hour. Then shopping. Or you can stay at home and you can work or do something else, it depends on our arrangements.
Around 13:00 or 14:00 is lunch time for me. You can join me or us (if Marek and Achim are at home) or you can cook, eat separately in the other apartment. I think from 15:00 to 18:00 is work time for you. Sometimes I will work with you. Sometimes I will do another work. Before 19:00 the last walk with dog for me or for Marek. From 20:00 the kitchen is mine in my apartment, because I practice 5 rhythms there. And that's it.
We offer breakfast and lunch.
I think we are a very relaxed family now and we do a lot of things at our own pace.

Wrocław is a place of writers: Olga Tokarczuk and Marek Krajewski. It is also the place of theaters: the Grotowski Institute, Song of the Goat Theater. Volunteers can learn with us about the culture and nature of Wrocław and Lower Silesia.
Every day you can relax walking with us and our dog around the Topacz castle near Wroclaw. There are fields, the Ślęza river and you can meet other interesting people with dogs. In addition, near Świdnica (1 hour from Wroclaw), our friends have a donkey farm. There is a lake, mountains. Maybe we can go together and wander with donkeys. I cordially invite you!Projects involving children

We have two apartments next to each other. We live in one, but I work in an apartment (I'm a homeschooler), where one room is available for our workaway guests. There are two rooms, a large kitchen and a bathroom.
(Sometimes we rent one room to students or other travelers).
We don't have a TV
Next to the house is a garden, and in it a tree with a wooden house - for common use and joy. What else ...
Wrocław has a good bus or train connection to Warsaw, Prague and Berlin. There are about 4 hours of travel in each direction. We had a visitor who spent the weekend in Berlin.

He impressed me with his story that he learned English properly, treating it as a hobby. Respect!
