Description
I have a country house with about a hundred trees that needs some upkeep, perhaps painting a wall here or doing some cleaning up. There may be some planting or collecting depending on the season. I'm also interested in keeping my French alive and practising more German.

I have done many workaways as a volunteer so I can perhaps give some advice on that front. The area is quite interesting with many sights to see such as castles, cave paintings, medieval towns and roman ruins. I can also help practice Spanish, English or French.
Help
I'm not looking to complete any major projects, to begin with I'd like people to stay for a short visit, help me take stock of what needs to be done and perhaps nibble away at maintenance issues. People with experience in DiY and agriculture would be welcome to give me advice as to what they think needs to be done. Aside from that a bit of language practice would be nice (French, German)

I need to keep my French from going rusty and my German from vanishing altogether!Accommodation
There is a country house with all mod cons (Except washing machine, we can take care of that separately), also possible accommodation in a shared house in the nearby city if needed. The house has a fully equipped kitchen.
What else ...
The house has a small golf course, basketball hoop, barbecue, swimming pool, ps3 and dvd, book library, telescope and bicycles, as well as a growing population of cats. There are a couple of villages within a few km and a larger modern town 15km away that is a transport hub (High speed train & highway) connecting to the rest of the country. Volunteers with their own transport would have a place to park and leave their vehicles. The bikes would also be available and I could drive to various locations for sight seeing trips.

The country house does not have wifi, I usually do with my cellphone as hotspot. I can maybe arrange for a spare mobile phone as router.
Space for parking camper vans
There's a parking area in front of the house where a caravan would easily fit, close enough to extend a cable to a power outlet.
